Hey HN, I built a tiny zero DOM layout engine for vector graphics and custom renderers to resolves nested rows/cols/grids into exact `{x, y, w, h}` boxes, with text measurement, overflow signals, and collision separation. This is to help make SVG, PDF, Canvas responsive. Feedback welcome from anyone building canvas/SVG diagrams, dashboards, node editors, or diagram tools.

This page started off as a random collection of stuff I wanted to try out (spinning up an Azure linux VM included) where I gave myself "1 hour per feature" to learn new stuff. Shell scripts, command-line webkit-based png rendering, pcntl_fork, piwik... Fun stuff. I know, yet another view of HN, no biggie. I welcome all feedback and questions!

This was submitted before but it didn't seem to get much attention because I don't think the title was very descriptive and the submitter was brand new. I almost didn't click it but once I did I thought the project was pretty awesome and had a lot of promise. Hope this doesn't violate the rules, I have no horse in the game, but the creator is here on the site so hopefully he'll be able to answer your questions.
