Two months ago, I started building this side-project in the morning, before my full-time job. A visual and easy-to-use web scraping app. Please, roast it a bit so I can work on improving it. Thanks.

Alternative search engines are neat, as are RSS feeds. OpenOrb is a self-hosted app which allows visitors to search over a list of blogs you love. If you put your 10 favourite blogs in there, it'll search just those blogs and not show you any sponsored content or machine-generated garbage (unless... you follow blogs written by machines?) Personal RSS feed readers can usually do this sort of thing, but RSS readers aren’t meant to be shared, so you can think of the search engine as a 'curated feed list as a public service'. I wrote a longer blog post about OpenOrb here:…

I recently observed that majority of my family members and friends are not using ad blockers and reader mode for reasons suck as lack of knowledge about plugins & laziness. So their online reading experience is not pleasant as a result very less amount of them read anything including what i share. Its an attempt to give them clutter, tracker & ad free reading experience right off the bat.

Hey HN, We got tired of browser frameworks restricting the LLM, so we removed the framework and gave the LLM maximum freedom to do whatever it's trained on. We gave the harness the ability to self correct and add new tools if the LLM wants (is pre-trained on) that. Our Browser Use library is tens of thousands of lines of deterministic heuristics wrapping Chrome (CDP websocket). Element extractors, click helpers, target managemenet (SUPER painful), watchdogs (crash handling, file downloads, alerts), cross origin iframes (if you want to click on an element you have to switch the target first,…

I built this browser extension to solve a daily frustration: copying documentation from websites to feed into AI coding assistants like Cursor, Windsurf, or ChatGPT, only to get a mess of ads, popups, and navigation junk mixed in with the actual content. LLMFeeder uses Mozilla's Readability.js (same tech as Firefox Reader Mode) to extract just the main article content, converts it to clean markdown with Turndown.js, and copies it to your clipboard with a single keyboard shortcut (Alt+Shift+M or ⌥ ⇧ M). No clicking through popups, no selecting around ads, no fighting with modern web clutter.…
