This project is inspired by 37signals’ ONCE idea. I replicated the whole process and have already sold a few copies (the testimonials are real).

Hey everyone! I am an enthusiast trader and a year ago I had this idea to create a free-to-use website that would feature all the most essential tools that traders would use on a daily basis. So I learned to code and build it—I did everything including design, texts, code, and SEO—which took me 12 months to launch and a year and a half to make it look like it currently does. I was into marketing and design before, but I didn't know barely anything about coding. The website is built using Next.js, Tailwind CSS, and Typescript with Framer Motion animations and lots of APIs. I’m actively…

TLDR: I made a public only web analytics without signup. Stores views and visitors for 10 days before deleting data. Exactly 25 days ago today I posted here, proud of my new web analytics. The response was mixed and my post even got flagged (understandable). It was my first real launch and I actually made a sale just a day later of 49$(!). Back then my project was pay once, keep forever. Since then I have sadly went over to the dark side (subscription based). I've been running long duration coding agents with Claude Code for about 6 months now. Steve Yegge released Beads back in October and I found that giving Claude tools for proper task tracking was a massive unlock. But Beads grew massively in a short time and every release made it slower and more frustrating to use. I started battling it several times a week as its background daemon took to syncing the wrong things at the wrong times. Over the holidays I finally ripped it out and wrote ticket as a replacement. It keeps the core concept I actually cared about (graph-based task dependencies)…

We've just launched our open source mobile application analytics platform Countly (http://count.ly) and its available to download from our home page. Countly uses MongoDB, Node.js and quite a lot of cool js libraries (backbone, underscore, jquery, flot etc.). We would really appreciate it if any iOS and/or Andoroid developers out there would like to try it out. Also we can provide a demo account for you to try it out if you send us an email indicating that you are from HN. Own your data, use Countly!
