Hi HN! I built KeyPub.sh to solve the problem of user verification for CLI applications. It's essentially OAuth for the terminal, but using SSH keys that developers and users already have. - No installation needed - works with existing SSH setup - Privacy-focused: users control what email info is shared - Simple email verification process - Free public service - Perfect for CLI app developers who don't want to build user verification Try it with: `$ ssh keypub.sh about` Source code: https://github.com/skariel/keypub

The Problem: Existing BaaS tools (Supabase, Appwrite) are amazing, but they are hard to validate for GxP (FDA regulations) and often force you into a JS/Go ecosystem. I wanted something native to the Python tools I already use. The Solution: SnackBase is a self-hosted Python (FastAPI + SQLAlchemy) backend that…

We built Gonzo to make log analysis faster and friendlier in the terminal. Think of it like k9s for logs — a TUI that can ingest JSON, text, or OpenTelemetry (OTLP) logs, highlight and boil up patterns, and even run AI models locally or via API to summarize logs. We’re still iterating, so ideas and contributions are welcome!

As Topaz turns a year old, we just released a big update, including support for a new authorization schema language, a built-in visual console, REST APIs for the ReBAC directory, a full test harness, and many other improvements. Would love to get your feedback! Check out the blog post [0] for the complete details (including some cool screenshots), or clone / fork the repo here [1]. Many thanks!
