I recently rebuilt my website as digital business card, which serves a simple purpose: Say hello, then point people in the direction of the places I inhabit on the web. At the time I was playing around with the HTML5 boilerplate and Google web fonts, and it inspried me to try to implement the logos of the sites I link to with CSS rather than images. Hi, I wanted to share with You our project (https://comparere.io). We have built a website for comparing graphics and designs. The concept is simple, you have to just drag'n drop two designs you are having trouble to pick from. The idea has emarged when we stumbled across many different facebook groups for graphic designers, where they used to sometimes ask the community for help to decide which design is better. I've been working on a CSS Sprite generator for a couple of weeks in my spare time. It uses HTML Canvas and JavaScript FileReader to open local images without any zipping or uploads, and tries to make the CSS generation as easy as possible. I really wanted to move my automation server project to a proper framework instead of the current ad hoc nightmare of inline CSS and redundant classes... But nothing seemed quite right.
