My Expenses is a very simple app to track expenses for one-time budgets. Let's say you're going on vacations in Italy and you want to allocate $1.500 to this trip. You create a budget "Italy" in 30 seconds and you're ready to go. Each time you make an expense in Italy, you add it to the app in a few seconds and you instantly know you're remaining budget. I'm bored of super complex apps. Yes, they do a lot of things, but it often takes a while to get used to the app and understand all its features. Care to share a screenshot and the 'killer feature' of any of your personal, self-built productivity tools? eg. I made my own calendar and money-tracker last year - there are no other users, it makes no money, I have no plans to make it public, but it holds my life together :) http://i.imgur.com/h2keJDg.png GREAT BECAUSE... it tells me how much I'm going to get paid this month. While cooking, I found that most of the apps already out there that focused on meal planning and recipe/shopping list management didn't quite work out how I wanted them to. Some would only work on limited devices, or bombarded me with pointless social features, or they didn't allow importing external…

I always spent more than planned so I decided to try budgeting applications. It turns out you need to be an accountant or a control freak for those apps. So I made Paktol with extreme simplicity & efficiency in mind. My sole goal is to spend less than I planned. Where Paktol differs: - you define a monthly goal - every month your position starts at $0 and it increases every second - when you add an expense you will either stay in green if above your position or go in red and we tell you how long you have to wait It's simple, boring and not sexy but it works for me (and friends/family).…
