Hi guys, I've created an open source web builder framework (https://grapesjs.com) years ago, which I'm still maintaining, and now I'm excited to publish a side project based on it, Grapedrop (https://grapedrop.com). It's a simple web page builder which allows you to design and publish your web pages very quickly. The project is still in beta with a lot of stuff to improve but I'd really like to share it and hear what people think about it and maybe also get some constructive feedback.

Inspired by the following post by photon_off... http://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=1683309 I made karmurl last night. It's a simple app where you submit a URL for feedback, then for every piece of feedback you give to someone else's, you get to read one piece of feedback for yours. http://karmurl.com

Hi everyone, i just develop an engine to allow you to render your blog using github directly, by just using html, json, markdown. Here's the demo: https://porfolio-one-rust.vercel.app/revskill10/porfolio-tem... and the source: https://github.com/revskill10/porfolio-template/tree/main/bl... Currently you can use it as the starting point template and hack on it. Would love to hear your feedback.

I geek out on any UI from the 2000s, so I built my personal site to look and feel like Windows XP. Made this two years ago to get better at React. My goal was to fool my dad into thinking he was actually using Windows XP and it seemed to work. No mobile version (yet) :( If you think it's cool you can check out the somewhat outdated code: https://github.com/SohailSayed/winxp-personal-website

Hi HN I built a fun little tool: It uses Groq’s LLaMA 3.3 + Puppeteer to analyze a website Then it roasts the design/content/UX with humor And finishes with 3–5 genuinely helpful improvement tips You can try it here: https://ai-roast-vert.vercel.app I wanted to: Practice fast idea-to-launch cycle (built in 2 days) Experiment with a viral-friendly product Monetize with a $0.55 pro version that gives a detailed roast + download Would love your feedback — on the idea, the tone, the usefulness — anything! Thanks in advance

Hi HN, This one's a twofer. First, I'm showing off my personal site and blog, garrettgoss.com [1]. I'm looking to make a career change — from biomedical engineering/biomedical research, to research and development engineering in the consumer product development/additive manufacturing space — and felt that my prior work experience inadequately reflected my true interests and skills, which are better exemplified by my side projects. I put this together for myself, to better document my own work, for the broader internet, to share some of the projects I've developed to those who might…

Hi HN, I’ve launched the website for my upcoming side business - a little Windows desktop application that I developed to scratch a personal itch. This is a significant milestone for me as it's both my first ever website and side business. The website itself is built using Tailwind CSS with plain JavaScript and some PHP scripts to handle the sign-up forms. I used a lot of ChatGPT for all of it. It's hosted on the the Hetzner level 1 webhosting plan costing EUR 1.90 per month and put behind Cloudflare. I am actually quite curious how this setting will hold up against the traffic from this…

I've been working the last months on a Twitter app for Windows Phone called Ocell. It all started as a test project to explore development in that platform, but I started to give it more time and released it to the Marketplace. It's my first serious project and I would like to know what does HN think about it. It's also opensourced, so you can also take a look at the code on GitHub (https://github.com/gjulianm/Ocell). It would be really great to have your feedback on this :) Thanks a lot! Windows Phone Store link: http://www.windowsphone.com/s?appid=2ca75e0f-69a4-42e9-b788-dedc31afb82a

I built a minimal opensource CMS, I use it myself for my blog and for other SaaS. l love blogging, and sometimes I post random thoughts on my blog. The only thing is, I always did it with .md files, which is fine too However, I was excited about the idea of using a CMS that was very minimal and avoiding the option of connecting something like WordPress or other big platforms. Open source (if you want to fork it or contribute) and free to use (unless I see you have a million views haha). Star the repo if you like it!

https://rxjourney.com.ng I realize SvelteKit is overkill, but I originally had bigger plans for the blog, before deciding to just keep it simple. Yeah, I had Medium open on a different tab while building. It's going to be a personal blog where I write about my experiences, if you're interested you can subscribe to the newsletter.

I got the idea of [mindmap.so](http://mindmap.so/) out of my own frustration of managing my personal notes in Notion and Miro in parallel. I have built it 3 months back on top of excalidraw, posted it in Reddit a couple of times, and never looked back (was using it only for personal use). Little did I know that the small and nimble tool that I created has crossed 2000+ users (was so surprised when I saw the dashboard last week). It was all organic and word of mouth . Having 2000+ users trusting a product is no easy feat. That’s when I thought may be I should put some more…

Hello HN, I had some christmas free time over the last two weeks (Merry Christmas btw ;-)) and used that time to completely recreate the website of my app[1]. I used all the fancy new tools. I didn't know some of them when I started. What was my goal? * Pretty website * Blazing fast * Mobile first * SSR * Webp support * Generally all the best website practices (high lighthouse score) What did I use? * Tailwindcss (https://tailwindcss.com/) * Tailwind Components (https://tailwindui.com/) * React (https://reactjs.org/) * ViteJs…

Hello everyone, A couple of months ago I was introduced to Excalidraw and fell in love with it instantly. The only thing I didn't like was that I couldn't easily save my whiteboards and had to put everything in one whiteboard which started to lag my PC after a while. So I made ExcaliHub. It's exactly as it sounds: a hub for Excalidraw. It's free, open source, and I aim to keep it that way. Thanks in advance for any feedback!

Hi HN, I built Pxxl App — a free web hosting and deployment platform for developers in Nigeria and beyond. It’s a Nigerian alternative to Vercel, Render, and Netlify, designed for those who want a simple, fast, and barrier-free way to host both frontend and backend apps. With Pxxl App, you can connect your Git repo and deploy in seconds — no credit card, no limits. You’ll get a live subdomain like yourapp.pxxl.pro, automatic builds, and continuous deployment. It supports: • Frontend frameworks: React, Next.js, Vue, Svelte, and more • Backend projects: Node.js, PHP, and Python • Features like…
