Products that do what Napkinbook – an infinite computational whiteboard/dashboard does

I am a superforecaster and napkinbook is a tool I have used to do forecasts and to organize my thoughts and to plan for the future. I built this originally so I could make videos on prediction markets and break down my ideas so I wanted to share it with all of you :)

Napkinbook is a smart canvas for collaboration, sharing, and discovering insights. I think of it as a more computational version of Excalidraw or Miro: a flexible canvas where you can think, build, present, and collaborate without constantly moving between different tools. Since my first Show HN, I’ve added: * Much better mobile support * AI-assisted brainstorming * Presentation decks with animations * Shareable reports * Live collaboration * Actual Git history The goal is to make the canvas itself the workspace, rather than treating whiteboarding, presenting, reporting, and version history…

Hi, I'm a high school teacher from Australia and I've built what I'd like to think is a pretty nifty ChatGPT powered presentation tool for teachers. I'd love it if you could have a look at it and give me some of your feedback. I don't think there's much overlap with the HN crowd and school teachers, but I've been coming here for many years and thought I'd post here and see what you all think. Check it out if you have a minute and I'd be super happy to hear your feedback too. https://www.slidehero.ai/ You can jump in and have a play with the tool all you like ;) Cheers, Eli

Hey HN! I’ve been building Fatebook for the past couple of months. It’s a slack bot to help your team make and track predictions, right where you work. I see forecasting as anti-bullshit technology: - It gives you truthseeking incentives - You communicate your uncertainty as a probability, which is way clearer (70% is better than “probably”) - You can aggregate forecasts to get wisdom of the crowd effects - You can see everyone’s track record, and pay more attention to people who are consistently accurate I’m a fan of prediction markets [0] and forecasting platforms [1]. But predictions on…

Hi HN, Would love your thoughts on Open Paper Digest. It’s a mobile feed that let’s you “doomscroll” through summaries of popular papers that were published recently. Backstory There’s a combination of factors lead me to build this: 1. Quality of content social media apps has decreased, but I still notice that it is harder than ever for me to stay away from these apps. 2. I’ve been saying for a while now that I should start reading papers to keep up with what’s going on in AI-world. Initially, I set out to build something solely for point 2. This version was more search-focussed, and…

I got the idea of [mindmap.so](http://mindmap.so/) out of my own frustration of managing my personal notes in Notion and Miro in parallel. I have built it 3 months back on top of excalidraw, posted it in Reddit a couple of times, and never looked back (was using it only for personal use). Little did I know that the small and nimble tool that I created has crossed 2000+ users (was so surprised when I saw the dashboard last week). It was all organic and word of mouth . Having 2000+ users trusting a product is no easy feat. That’s when I thought may be I should put some more…
