Products that do what Neets.ai – Cheap and Robust TTS Platform does

We used to rely on ElevenLabs for their TTS API, however the prices for Eleven and their competitors were enormous. That led us to developing our own TTS platform, Neets.ai, which we will grow and improve with a much lower price than our peers. We're always looking for developers. Hi guys, For my startup at www.mithrin.ai which is about create AI Chatbot Agents for websites, I wanted to create some free tools to attract traffic to the site and decided to create specialized chatbots powered by LLMs, similar to OpenAI's Custom GPTs. I realized that by using gpt-4o-mini, I could create quite powerful alternatives to GPTs that are free to the public for a very small cost (given how cheap the model api cost is). I've employed some throttling to prevent abuse and to avoid being charged too much. Then I integrated this with my main service and allowed users to use the…

Hey HN! Thank you for all the support and feedback on my original submission 2 months ago. I've been improving the backend using a MCTS/AlphaZero approach and it's currently producing much better results. My long term goal is to allow users to manage multiple projects, deployed autonomously, both from scratch and by making continual updates all prompted with natural language. The cost of each project has been lowered to $9 as performance with smaller models has improved (I migrated from Claude-3-Opus to gemini-1.5-flash). Thanks for checking it out!

The audio/TTS space just moved fast. In the last week alone: NVIDIA – PersonaPlex-7B Open-source, full-duplex conversational speech model. Inworld AI – TTS-1.5 Realtime TTS (<250ms), $0.005/min, currently #1 on Artificial Analysis. Flash Labs – Chroma 1.0 First open-source, end-to-end, real-time speech-to-speech model. Alibaba Qwen – Qwen3-TTS Fully open-sourced TTS family: Base, CustomVoice, VoiceDesign. Kyutai Labs – Pocket TTS Runs locally on a laptop. No GPU required. Feels like TTS is hitting the same acceleration moment LLMs had last year. Realtime, open-source, and local is…

Hey HN, I kept seeing the same question asked over and over in startup communities: "What tech stack should I use for my SaaS?" The answers were always scattered, opinionated, and never accounted for budget or team size. So I built appstackbuilder.com — you tell it your monthly budget, app type, team size, and skill level, and it recommends a full stack (auth, database, hosting, payments, analytics, etc.) with actual pricing for each tool. A few things that make it different from generic advice: - It accounts for team size when calculating costs (e.g. Clerk charges per user, Linear charges…

Hey HN, After GPT-3 created waves in the tech industry, a lot of AI tools were emerging and with that, some AI website builders But the results seemed way too generic to us. It felt like the developers were rushing to catch the wave instead of building a proper tool We took our time, did months of RnD and finally came up with something better than what others in the market are doing. It’s got better design output. While it’s still in beta, I wanted to show HN what we did. Will appreciate the feedback when you guys try it out. Here is the link to signup for the beta:…

hello everyone, my first post! AA here, founder of ⌘ Langbase.com — we are a developer platform for building and scaling serverless AI memory agents. I know surveys can be boring, but this one’s different—it’s interactive! That's very much intentional. My team and I have been up for the last 21 hours putting together this report. This was a looot of work, so I hope y'all like it. Introducing … State of AI Agents 2024 report On Langbase, we processed 184 billion tokens and handled 786 million AI agent runs from 36K developers. Hi HN, I'm the creator of AVA - AI Voice Agent for Asterisk My repo was shared here once before by someone else so I wanted to follow up with the progress since then. https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=46380399 I've been working with Asterisk/FreePBX systems for years. I wanted to add AI voice capabilities to legacy phone systems without paying per-minute SaaS fees or ripping out the entire telephony stack. So I built AVA, a self-hosted AI voice agent that can integrate into any traditional phone system. While most solutions demand expensive migrations to cloud-only…

KillSaaS is my answer to subscription software in the AI era. I'm building this because I believe small teams can use modern AI tools to create free alternatives to giants like Figma and DocuSign in weeks, not years. We're creating a platform where developers vote on which SaaS to replace, then build it together as open source. wdyt?

I’m a designer exploring AI tools, and this is my first attempt to turn an idea into a functional product. Would love to know what you think.

Hey folks, I'm Yuval. I run a tiny startup called Glitter AI. It's just me full-time here, with a couple of freelances to help here and there. A couple of months ago, I went from managing zero requests to hundreds -- overnight (won Product of the day on Product Hunt). As someone who gets VERY easily distracted (maybe you relate), I had to find some sort of way of handling all the chaos if I didn't want to burn out. I came up with a pretty cool automation flow that I thought folks on HN here may be interested in reading about :) So here goes: Most of my interactions come through Intercom.…

Hey everyone! we just launched Promptly apps (https://trypromptly.com/), a no-code platform to build generative AI apps and chatbots. We allow users to build web apps and chatbots by chaining LLM APIs (we call processors) from providers like OpenAI, StabilityAI, Cohere etc, without writing any code. We also let users to bring in their own data and store it in a vector database to be used for context augmentation in their apps. Users can import data from a variety of sources including urls, sitemaps, PDFs and other file types Published apps are accessible to app's users via a…

Hey HN, We're excited to introduce Braintrust, a platform for running and tracking AI evaluations (“evals”) [1]. At my previous startup Impira and leading AI at Figma, we had this recurring problem where we never knew if changes we made to our products would improve or regress key user scenarios. We built some tooling to solve this problem and after talking to other developers learned that it was a widespread issue. Specifically, it’s challenging to establish a great dev loop that lets you systematically improve and ship high quality AI products. We worked with the teams at Zapier, Coda, and…

Hi HN, We're a small team building AI tutors out of India, and as you might guess, this means we spend a ton of time writing, testing, and refining prompts for LLMs. When we started out, we were using the OpenAI playground but things became tedious when we wanted to compare responses from different models. We tried a bunch of other playgrounds but found them lacking in some features so we built our own. Hey HN: Kaveh here, founder of https://www.usage.ai/ We help companies drive down AWS, GCP, and Azure spend. Why? Because the way it's done now is a pain. DevOps and Software Engineers end up spending time managing costs rather than focusing on business problems. I have been building Usage AI for almost 4 years now (4 year anniversary in 1 month from now!) with an incredible group of founding people. We started as a product just to help lower AWS EC2 costs, and now we do all major AWS services (such as RDS, OpenSearch, ElastiCache, and Redshift with more on the way) and other…
