After years of SSH tunnels, IPsec headaches, and the ssh log horror movie, I wanted something simpler: install, sign in, get work done. Hi HN, Some misbehaving networks drop WireGuard packets either by accident or on purpose. Commonly the latter is done with simple DPI rules that block the handshake initiation [1], but it could be applied to other message types as well. Hi! I've been working on a child monitoring service and I'd really appreciate your input on it. The structure of the service is pretty technically interesting. It sets up a wireguard VPN on the child's Windows account, and then routes the traffic to our server. From there, we use mitmproxy to break open the TLS, inspect the packets, and then re-encrypt them.
