Numscript is a simple, declarative language that helps you model financial transactions. You can do quite a few things with it, such as modeling: * Payments involving vouchers and a user's prepaid balance * Complex funds destination scenario where the customer gets cash back * Configurable user credit balance spending transactions The main idea is to take the pain out of describing of a system dealing with money movements should behave in traditional languages such as JS/TS/Go/Ruby etc, landing an expressive way to model these movements of value. It is voluntarily broad in…

Fungible is a terminal-based personal finance app that fills the Mint-shaped void in my life. It runs using your own plaid credentials (optional) and has its own integrated chatbot (also optional and BYO key). You connect banks via Plaid or import CSVs. Transactions get auto-categorized by rules you define. On top of normal categories there's a flexibility layer (fixed / flexible / discretionary) so you can see at a glance what's actually controllable spending. There are also tags (also separate from categories) for isolating things like trips or hobbies. The financial health…

I've been using this daily for 4 months and figured others might find it useful. This is my first open source project so would love any feedback. Ray connects to your bank via Plaid, stores everything in an encrypted local SQLite database, and lets you ask questions about your finances in natural language. No cloud, no account, your data is stored on your machine. Before anything reaches the LLM, all PII is stripped — your name, companies, transaction details are redacted and replaced with tokens, then rehydrated locally in the response. The AI never sees who you are.

Hi, over the past few months I've been working on this project: Numax is a small Rust runtime that does three things: it runs WebAssembly modules in a sandbox, has a built-in local key-value store, and syncs everything across nodes with CRDTs and gossip. Basically, you write a wasm module, run it on two machines, and they converge (I hope !). It's a decentralized system... I hope someone finds it interesting! There's a whitepaper I've put a lot into, and I think the code isn't bad either! I believe there's still room in this world for software that's fun and well made, and while building…
