Hey, Jared Palmer (creator of this playground) here. Really excited to ship this. I’ve been building this over the past few weeks to compare LLMs from different providers like OpenAI, Anthropic, Cohere, etc. At Vercel, I manage our Frameworks division (including Next.js, Svelte, and Turbo) and wanted to also dogfood some of the latest features in a slightly larger application. This playground takes a lot of inspiration from https://nat.dev and is built on Tailwind, ui.shadcn.com, and some upcoming Vercel products we’re announcing soon. We’re going to continue adding models to…

Hello HN! The day has finally come to stop adding features and start sharing what I've been building the last 5-6 months. It's a bit of CrewAI, OpenDevon, LangFuse/Cloud all in one, providing devs who prefer TypeScript an integrated framework thats provides a lot out of the box to start experimenting and building agents with. It started after peeking at the LangChain docs a few times and never liking the example code. I began experimenting with automating a simple Jira request from the engineering team to add an index to one of our Google Spanner databases (for context I'm the…

We built any-llm because we needed a lightweight router for LLM providers with minimal overhead. Switching between models is just a string change : update "openai/gpt-4" to "anthropic/claude-3" and you're done. It uses official provider SDKs when available, which helps since providers handle their own compatibility updates. No proxy or gateway service needed either, so getting started is pretty straightforward - just pip install and import. Currently supports 20+ providers including OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Mistral, and AWS Bedrock. Would love to hear what you think!

Hey HN! We're building an open-source CMS designed to help creators with every part of the content production pipeline. We're showing our tiny first step: A tool designed to take in a Twitter username and produce an "identity card" based on it. We expect to use an approach similar to [Constitutional AI] with an explicit focus on repeatability, testability, and verification of an "identity card." We think this approach could be used to create finetuning examples for training changes, or serve as inference time insight for LLMs, or most likely a combination of the two. The tooling we're…

Hi HN! This is Adil, Salman, Co and Shuguang and we're excited to introduce archgw [1], an open source intelligent proxy for agents built on Envoy [2]. Arch moves the critical but crufty work around safety, observability, and routing of prompts outside business logic. Arch is a uniquely intelligent infrastructure primitive, engineered with purpose-built fast LLMs [3] for tasks like intent detection over multi-turn, parameter identification and extraction, triggering single/multiple function calls, and offers convenience features to auto dispatch LLM calls for summarization based on data…

Hi! I have relatives that speak sign language, and always found it odd that despite unbelievable advances in AI in recent years, the problem still felt somewhat neglected. Especially with the advent of wearable tech; to my knowledge, this is the first project that integrates the meta glasses w/ fingerspelling translation software. As for the technical aspect, I trained a neural net on Google's FSboard dataset modeling a CNN + GRU temporal encoder architecture (trained with CTC), and then decoded the output with CTC beam search and a KenLM language model to solve some of the deficiencies…

AStack is a composable framework designed to simplify the development of AI applications through a "everything is a component" philosophy. It provides a zero-adaptation layer design that enables seamless integration between various AI models, tools, and custom business logic. AStack is an independent technical framework with its own architecture and ecosystem, built on top of Hlang - a highly semantic fourth-generation language (4GL) inspired by Flow-Based Programming paradigms. This foundation on Hlang, which is particularly well-suited for computational modeling and AI-generated code, is…

Hi HN, we're Patrick and Florian, and we created Omnifact out of frustration with the underwhelming impact of AI on business productivity. After working with large companies struggling to adopt AI in a meaningful way due to data privacy concerns and vendor lock-in, we decided to build the platform we wished we had. Omnifact is designed for organizations that want to make use of generative AI and RAG without compromising data security or flexibility. Here's the tech breakdown: - Deployment Flexibility: Omnifact can be used as a SaaS in our Azure-based cloud, deployed within a company's…
