Hey everyone, I wanted to share what I have been working on recently. I had this itch for a long time to figure out if terrain contour matching could help with ground navigation, by only only relying on iphone's sensors and public data. So far I have had decent results. This is a working prototype, but there is a lot that is in the pipeline. If you notice anything weird, let me know or open a PR. Any feedback, comments are welcome :)

I love culture + travel, and one of my favorite pastimes is dropping into random streets on Google Street View. I just LOVE getting a tiny snippet into how people live, the architecture, and discovering hidden corners of places I'll probably never visit. I'm kinda weird like that. I've built this as a side project last month. I know there are a few similar sites out there, but I've found them cumbersome to navigate with ads that slow down the experience. So I decided to take a stab at it and build my own version, with a minimalist UI (+ I implemented a custom right-click menu to enable navigation even when the UI is hidden), ad-free, just for fun. There are over 130+ cities that you can explore right now, but I'm constantly adding new ones.

As a hiker and (ski)mountaineer I've always been a bit disappointed of how most apps fail to properly depict the topography while analyzing GPS tracks. (I know that Strava offers some kind of 3D view by now, but I still wanted to build my own thing) That's why I started working on https://cubetrek.com It's still very experimental, but you can give it test-drive now.
