Hi, I've been watching the rise of AI agents with a mix of excitement and dread. We're building incredible tools that can browse the web, but we're forcing them to navigate a world built for human eyes. They scrape screens and parse fragile DOMs. We're trying to tame them to act like humans. I believe this is fundamentally wrong. Hi HN! This is an SDK for ESP32s (microcontrollers) that runs against OpenAI's new WebRTC service [0] My hope is that people can easily add AI to lots of 'real' devices. Wearable devices, speakers around the house, toys etc... You don't have to write any code, just buy a device and set some env variables. If you have any feedback/questions I would love to hear! You can create your own spirit animal based on any description you provide. It responds with an AI-generated summary of the page that you are on, using meta tags in the HTML of that page. I made this during a hack week at work (koodos.com). I wanted to build something fun that used AI (this specifically uses DALL-E and GPT-3) that kind of acted like a companion as you browse the web - similar to a Tamagotchi or Clippy (rip).
