I made an open source, MIT license Typescript library based on some of the latest research that generates prompt injection attacks. It is a super minimal/lightweight and designed to be super easy to use. Keen to hear your thoughts and please be responsible and only pen test systems where you have permission to pen test!

I wanted a safer alternative to RegExp for TypeScript that uses a linear-time engine, so I built Regolith. Why: Many CVEs happen because TypeScript libraries are vulnerable to Regular Expression Denial of Service attacks. I learned about this problem while doing undergraduate research and found that languages like Rust have built-in protection but languages like JavaScript, TypeScript, and Python do not. Over time, I expanded it to cover more fingerprinting surfaces. It now has 13 protection categories affecting 50+ browser APIs and methods: Geolocation, time and locale settings, Canvas, WebGL, Audio, Navigator, Screen, Client Hints, Battery, WebRTC, Dedicated Workers, Service Workers,…

Hi HN, I'm Divy, former CTO at Branch and previously led engineering teams at Credit Karma and NexHealth. Over the past decade in fintech and healthtech, I've watched too many founders get blindsided by privacy compliance. The Problem: 80% of startups are unaware of privacy laws affecting their business. The choice between expensive attorneys ($5,000+) and risky generic templates is getting worse as regulations expand. Generic privacy policies fail because they make promises your business can't keep – I've seen this tank funding rounds and trigger regulatory investigations. My Personal Pain:…
