I had the concept in my head for some time and firstly just prototyped it using only HTML & CSS. Sent it to a few friends and they liked it so I made it into its own website and added few 'competitive' features like click counter and share button.

The idea for this pixel art puzzle game came from playing Triominos, and wondering what would happen if you replaced numbers with colors. A few mutations later, and it became a mobile game where you click a piece to turn it in place, to recreate pixel art. I built the basic idea in just over an hour on Twitch. Dev-wise, I used a homebrew Typescript game engine I created, called Booyah (https://github.com/play-curious/booyah). The graphics are all rendered using the awesome library PixiJS. What do you think?

I’ve been working on a puzzle game for a few years as a side project. The game is based on a small region of tiles in a grid that is mirrored, modified, and mirrored again. It’s based on a novel phenomenon I noticed where, once these mutations happen a few times, the original region can be hard to recognize. You have a feeling there are symmetries in the image, but they are just out of grasp. Going further, if only part of the region is visible, such as mirroring off the edge of the board, it adds to the feeling and it becomes a satisfying puzzle to solve. It's like a mix between Picross (Nonograms) and Polyominoes. It's a minimalist puzzler which has no text, no tutorials (none required) and no ads set in a relaxing environment. While on paternal leave, I wanted to create a game my newborn daughter could eventually play and learn something from. I was heavily inspired by the daily puzzle games I consistently play such as Wordle and Strands. Refractor is a game about connecting colored tiles together to reach all the goals. Use "refractor" tiles to combine two colors together but be careful not to trap yourself in! The game is won when all goals are fulfilled. The tech stack is: Laravel + Inertia, React + TypeScript, and DaisyUI + TailwindCSS. Open to any questions or feedback. Hope you might find it interesting!

Hi everyone. I spent the last year making Puzzle Express. Play and discover puzzles as if you were scrolling reels: play if you want or swipe up to skip. Made this as a healthier alternative to doomscrolling and a great, new way to discover puzzles you might love.
