My partner usually writes substack posts which I then mirror to our website’s blog section. To automate this, I made a simple tool to scrape the post and clean it so that I can drop it to our blog easily. This might be useful to others as well. Oh and ofcourse you can instruct GPT to make any final edits :D

hi friends! i'm pretty tired of engagement bait and all the political nonsense on my x/twitter feed. i was curious if i could use an llm to filter out these type of content, so i prototyped a quick chrome extension. it uses LLama 3.3 to analyze the tweet through https://groq.com/ (because they are super-super fast). the extension is available in the chrome store, also there is a link to the repo. - you can tweak the system prompt for the filtering - but you need your own API key from Groq (you can get one for free)

I'm sure you all saw the debate a few days ago, alongside all the tech influencoors giving their mid-takes about politics. Doesn't it get tiring? That's why I built mindfirewall a chrome extension that uses AI to filter out tweets. You'll never have to see politics, war, or negativity on your timeline again. Why did my wife and I make this site? We want to make browsing Reddit more educational, hilarious, inspiring, and extremely cute. We use Claude 3 Haiku to rate content from Reddit and you can change the rating category to "educational," "hilarious," "cute," or "political."
