    I originally built a QR code generator as a resume project using Rust and I realized a web interface would make customization way easier. This still generates the "data" using that rust library via wasm, but the rendering is all editable javascript to make an SVG or paint on an HTML canvas. I was especially inspired by https://qrbtf.com which had some unique style options I had never seen before, which I ended up copying, and then I made some more.

    I built µJS because I wanted AJAX navigation without the verbosity of HTMX or the overhead of Turbo. It intercepts links and form submissions, fetches pages via AJAX, and swaps fragments of the DOM. Single tag, one call to `mu.init()`. No build step, no dependencies. Key features: patch mode (update multiple fragments in one request), SSE support, DOM morphing via idiomorph, View Transitions, prefetch on hover, polling, and full HTTP verb support on any element. The idea is to have much faster rendering (a compiler optimizes virtual DOM beforehand) while ensuring the same developer experience React provides.     We’ve been working on Vaev, a minimal web browser engine built from scratch. It supports HTML/XHTML, the CSS cascade, @page rules for pagination, and print-to-PDF rendering. It even handles calc(), var(), and percentage units—and yes, it renders Google.com (mostly). This is an experimental project focused on learning and exploration.     I built slotstream, a way to run Qwen3.8-Flash-Next 4-bit on a low-memory mac starting from 16GB, a 125B parameter model that would need 100GB+ memory&#x2F;RAM, thanks to expert-offloading&#x2F;ssd-streaming. Easy to install&#x2F;update, and mac-native using MLX and Swift. It ships with auto-mode, which makes a good tradeoff between memory usage and speed.
