In plain words

WebJSX is a lightweight JavaScript library for building web interfaces using Web Components and JSX syntax. It enables developers to create reusable component-based applications with a minimal footprint. The library combines Web Components standards with JSX's familiar syntax, making it accessible for developers transitioning from React-like frameworks while maintaining the benefits of native web platform features. It targets developers seeking a simpler, smaller alternative to larger frontend frameworks.

From the sources

A minimal library for building web applications with Web Components and JSX . In the last decade, we used React and React-like frameworks because Web Standards weren't there yet, and some of us wanted to write type-safe components. But Web Components are mature now, and if we combine that with JSX/TSX for type-safety we have everything we want, while staying close to Web Standards. There are a few examples on StackBlitz . If you're impatient (like me), that's probably the easiest way to get started. WebJSX fully supports JSX syntax, allowing you to create virtual DOM elements using createElement and update the real DOM with applyDiff . I've been building a web UI library for a side project of mine. I thought it might be useful to others, so I'm releasing it as open source. To put it simply, I realized that most of my pain points with React come from its declarative model ui=f(state). So I'm trying something that I'm calling "imperative JSX." Instead of treating JSX as the source of truth for your UI, it essentially becomes a query interface for DOM manipulation. I first had the idea for it a few months ago, and only began writing it in earnest last week, so it's extremely early and nowhere near production-ready. Still, I'd…
