Disco is tiny app I built over the weekend to try and make browsing git better. Inspired heavily by Tower, it also adds pull request integration and is run in the browser. It's only for public repositories. Checkout: http://disco.88cartell.com/#/rails/rails http://disco.88cartell.com/#/emberjs/ember.js http://disco.88cartell.com/#/angular/angular.js

DrHTTP (https://drhttp.com/) provides a simple web UI showing all http requests & responses (including full payloads) that flowed in your server. Let's say you (backend developer) run a json over rest API in production. A client opens a ticket saying he received wrong data 3 days ago at 10:00 am. You see no exception in your reporting tool (sentry, newrelic, etc.), you don't have business oriented logs for this situation, current data in your DB looks fine, I think you might get value from the http payload of the user. DrHTTP gives it to you. I'm at a point where I have a…

So this bot is a re-implementation of it, but now also supporting Discord. It's very easy to use: 1. install the bot on your workspace/guild 2. /keywords add rust,hn,foobar (for Discord) ; @newsbutler add rust,hn,foobar (for Slack) 3. done For technical stuff : it is implemented in Crystal + Postgres (hosted on Render+Neon). I will certainly opensource it when I clean the repo of all production…
