It's known that human thinking is not linear, but rather associative. Without realizing it, we are constantly making connections between the things we learn. I believe that the best way to learn is to make these connections explicit. I am not sure if this is useful for anyone else but I recently found myself converting a lot of books / magazines and content to NotebookLM Deep Dives, so, I wrote this quick plugin to do that in single click. I find this is a nice way to go through a lot of content (during commute etc.) and pick interesting stuff to read. Think of it as skimming a book and deciding to read it.

I made Really Simple Notes after getting frustrated with other note-taking apps. I found that I was spending more time formatting my notes than writing them. I like the sidebar navigation that Coda provides, but I hate how slow Coda is. I use Simplenote for journaling and creating itineraries for my wife and I (publish as a webpage and send link). It's great. Robust export options too. I used to use Obsidian + iCloud sync daemon to facilitate continuity between my Windows desktop and my Macbook, but I started getting sync issues on Windows and a couple BSODs due to how the iCloud daemon handles timestamps. I picked up Simplenote and it's been working flawlessly. Very underrated IMO.
