I wanted to get two things from building an App 1) I wanted to learn how to build and deploy an app with react-native and google cloud. 2) Also, I recently purchased an item in a department store and gave my personal email address and I received my receipt as expected. But I also received a load of emails about promotions over the coming weeks which cluttered my inbox. Hi HN. I am not new to programming but very new to react-native. I thought I would share my first react-native application ever with HN for your comments. I have a day job as an enterprise developer and every day for 2 weeks I worked on my 60 minute bus ride in to work on this application from the front end to the back end. Always loved posterous, but I thought it would be really cool if somehow you could treat email addresses like twitter hashtags and usernames. So after 2 days of coding, it's here and works. Hello, I have just finished my second app, which is also my first ever pay to download app. It's called StreamClock, It's like a radio alarm clock, but uses a Last.fm radio station, or Spotify Track chosen by the user. It took me 1 month of evenings and weekends, and I fell like I have learned a lot. I am particularly proud of the logo... To find it just search "StreamClock" in Google Play. In light of the recent Ledger database breach (https://cointelegraph.com/news/ledger-users-threaten-legal-action-after-hacker-dumps-personal-data), I wanted to see if my address had been leaked after purchasing a Ledger Nano S for myself. HaveIBeenPwned unfortunately doesn't show if just your email or your email as well as address has been leaked, so I decided to set this up.
