I built this because I was tired of creating pull requests in 20 repositories just to change a single line of workflow job version. With Infra as AI, just mention the change. Agents work on all repos in parallel, read the docs, make a bunch of PRs and fill in the description. You can see the demo of the actual dashboard in the landing. Let me know your thoughts :) It means a lot to me!

After years of struggling with onboarding to new projects, I got tired of spending weeks just trying to grasp the basics of a codebase. The README rarely tells the whole story, and "just read the code" isn't practical for large repos. I built RepoIQ to create personalized learning paths through any GitHub repository. It analyzes the codebase structure, identifies key components, and creates a step-by-step guide tailored to your learning needs.

OP here. I built RepoReaper to solve code context fragmentation in RAG. Unlike standard chat-with-repo tools, it simulates a senior engineer's workflow: it parses Python AST for logic-aware chunking, uses a ReAct loop to JIT-fetch missing file dependencies from GitHub, and employs hybrid search (BM25+Vector). It also generates Mermaid diagrams for architecture visualization. The backend is fully async and persists state via ChromaDB. Link: https://github.com/tzzp1224/RepoReaper

Hey HN, I built RepoGPT, an open-source AI tool that lets you interact with your GitHub repos using natural language. Ask it things like: How is auth implemented? List API endpoints. What are the key dependencies? RepoGPT aims to make navigating large codebases easier with AI. Check it out: https://github.com/mbarinov/repogpt You'll need Node.js, pnpm, Docker (PostgreSQL), and an OpenAI API key. Full setup in the README. Feedback and contributions are welcome! Also, I'm looking for remote roles in EU time zones. Thanks!

Hey HN! I just released Octarchive, a simple tool to back up all repos on a GitHub/Gitea account to a local folder written in Go. If you're worried about loosing your FLOSS work, but are can't keep up with manually mirroring all the repositories, this might be the tool you're looking for. I'd love to get your feedback :)

I built a CLI tool that lists out all the local git repos within a directory in an easy to read table format including relevant information such as last modified date and the status of branches in the repo, along with whether it is synced with remote or not. It also includes a bunch of flags to get exactly what you want in the format you want. I got this idea as I was trying organize the large amount of local git repos I had. I also found it particularly useful when traveling since I use a different device. In these cases, it is really helpful to know which local git repos I forgot to push…

Hi HN, I built Repomap, a tool that generates interactive architecture diagrams from any GitHub repository. It uses a Rust + tree-sitter engine to analyze the codebase and produces a D3-based graph UI with clustering, zoom/pan, and live progress updates
