HN, I've been mostly lurking, semi-active on HN for over 4 years. For most of that time, I've been working on my startup, Learndot. This morning I've submitted our project to HN. http://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=4099054 Got pretty helpful feedback. But that wasn't the only thing. 478 people requested invite out of 755. 63% conversion rate. Almost 9K unique visitor visited our website. At some point in the morning I was seeing 400+ active users on the website. Unbelievable. 35 people registered without telling them how to register. I don’t consider myself a designer or a programmer, but I wanted to make something simple like this for fun, and now I figure I might as well have some fun promoting it too. The idea is basically a rehash of Google Profiles, except with a slightly different pitch. So let me know what you think. A couple of specific questions I have: Does this actually work as a minimum viable product? Is that feedback tab on the side an effective way to collect feedback from regular users?
