Thought I would post in celebration of 1 year of my website being online. I've been working on it on and off and currently the website allows users to play Hex, Tumbleweed, Amazons, and Connect 6 against friends or against practice bots. I've been a long time player of some of these games and I felt for a long time that the world could use a few more popular abstract strategy games compared to Chess or Go. If you try it, let me know what you think. I'm always looking for new games or new features to add :)

Voronoi Go▲155I posted once before but wanted to share again because a lot has changed. There's now a fairly strong bot to play against (contributed by a community member) and also correspondence games. The combination of these things helps a bit in finding people to play against.

Hi everyone! After spending hundreds of hours, we're excited to finally share our progress in developing a reinforcement learning system to beat Pokémon Red. Our system successfully completes the game using a policy under 10M parameters, PPO, and a few novel techniques. With the release of Claude Plays Pokémon, now feels like the perfect time to showcase our work. We'd love to get feedback!

I was curious to see how some of the latest models behaved and played no limit texas holdem. I built this website which allows you to: Spectate: Watch different models play against each other. Play: Create your own table and play hands against the agents directly.

hey all! just in time for the friends&family gatherings, friend and collaborator Nolen from eieio[0] and I just launched Talk Paper Scissors i.e. rock paper scissors over the telephone! with strangers! Trading cards are awesome, but paying $30 for some cardboard isn’t. I’ve upscaled 60,000 cards from the entire catalog of Yugioh, Magic, Pokemon, & a newer game, https://elestrals.com. I've made it easy to build a decklist, download it, and then print at home. Modern inkjet printers got really good when nobody was looking. I continue my experiment of transposing classic games onto an irregular grid. I've previously released variants of minesweeper and checkers. And now I'd like to share my variant of Chess. Chess can be a pretty punishing game, but I thought this was nevertheless a way to make it even more challenging by making it trickier to anticipate your opponent, even though both players still have the same information. From the playtests I've done, that challenge is pretty compelling. It also seems to be more fun at 2 people, where both players keep surprising one another.
