Hi everyone, I recently published a small open-source project. It’s a minimal network packet analyzer written in Go — designed more like a learning toy than a replacement for Wireshark. It currently supports parsing basic protocols like TLS, DNS, and HTTP, and includes a tiny fuzzing engine to test payload responses. You can inspect raw packet content directly from the terminal. The output is colored for readability, and the code structure is kept simple and clear. The entire program is very small — just about 400 lines of Go code. I know it’s not anywhere near Wireshark’s level, and I still…

Hey all, I just wanted to share a project I've been working on for the past month. After years of heavy frameworks, I really like the idea of using htmx, but it’s a little too low level for me and needs a thin layer above it to facilitate things like components, better syntax with complex JS inside of an attribute, etc To try and solve this problem with a very minimal stack (golang + htmx) that I've been really enjoying, I'm building this project to cater to my needs and was thinking it would be useful for other developers.

No gc, No goroutines, Produces small binaries while using the unmodified official go toolchain, and comes with complete Web SDK (generated from w3c/webref). We are building `pcz` to provide a reimagination of Go the language, in an effort to make it suitable for all kinds of programming tasks, and currently you can use it to build efficient web applications in Go using the generated Web SDK (as shown with the live web demo[1]). The journey is just starting, any suggestions? or any critics? [1]: https://primecitizens.github.io/livedemos/10-plat-web/

Tesseract is one of the largest Open Source OCR (Optical Character Recognition) projects. There is already a Go library for using Tesseract from Go with CGo, called Gosseract. However if you are interested in OCR from Go without C complicating building and cross-compiling, there aren't any other options. Wazero is a Go WASM runtime that doesn't have any CGo dependencies. With Emscripten Tesseract has been compiled to WASM and ran within Wazero. Gogosseract provides a simple API on top of this. This project has been an interesting delve into the world of WASM.

We built Gonzo to make log analysis faster and friendlier in the terminal. Think of it like k9s for logs — a TUI that can ingest JSON, text, or OpenTelemetry (OTLP) logs, highlight and boil up patterns, and even run AI models locally or via API to summarize logs. We’re still iterating, so ideas and contributions are welcome!

Tap Tap Tap▲106I’ve been working on a new Go library called Tap: https://github.com/yarlson/tap. It’s a Go port of the TypeScript library Clack https://clack.cc/, bringing its simple, interactive command-line prompts to Go. Why: I often found myself rewriting input handling, spinners, and progress bars when building CLI tools. Existing options in Go felt either too barebones or too heavyweight. Tap aims to provide a middle ground: ergonomic, event-driven prompts with minimal dependencies. What works today: - Text and password input - Confirm and single-select menus…

Hi there, I've been working sporadically over the last six months on a go monorepo tool (0 config it just use go workspace and go convention). It’s basically like TurboRepo but without the task runner. The tool builds a dependency graph between packages, allowing you to do things similar to what you can do in TurboRepo, like "only test the packages and the packages that depend on them, compared to the main branch," or "only install dependencies for Package A and its dependencies," etc. I use native go tool to get dependencies and create dependency graph between the package.Nothing crazy but…
