Go compiler for small places. Microcontrollers, WebAssembly (WASM/WASI), and command-line tools. Based on LLVM. - tinygo-org/tinygo

TinyGo is an LLVM-based Go compiler designed for microcontrollers and embedded systems. It allows developers to write microcontroller code in Go instead of lower-level languages. The compiler generates efficient… Below are 24 products that do a similar job, ranked by how close each is in meaning and then by launch-day votes. As a personal project I wrote a really tiny Wat 2 Wasm compiler in Go. Mainly for demonstrative and educational purposes. It was tough: I didn't know anything about WebAssembly internals and I'm a newbie with Go... so I tried to document it as much as I could for anyone that would like to approach the quest in the future! It misses a lot of features (that will be gradually implemented). Any feedback is welcomed!! Demo: https://luna-demo.vercel.app

Show HN: TinyWasm - A tiny WebAssembly Runtime written in Rust Hi HN! I'm excited to share TinyWasm (https://github.com/explodingcamera/tinywasm), a WebAssembly Interpreter I developed for my final university project. The main goal of this project was to deepen my understanding of WebAssembly and interpreter design. TinyWasm successfully passes all the official WebAssembly 1.0 tests and also includes features from future proposals such as like bulk memory operations. Initially more of a research project, TinyWasm focuses on simplicity and portability. It has minimal…

I can't tell if HN is the right kind of place for this stuff anymore since people are so advanced in their use but I thought it was interesting to leverage my existing Go microservices framework and turn it into the core of what would provide tools for an agent cli or whatever beyond that. Extensibility is key. Thought I'd share and get a conversation going.

I've open sourced a JavaScript to WASM compiler. It's an experimental tool, but given the semantics I already implemented, I'm fairly certain I am able to eventually cover 100% of JavaScript spec. Any ideas, questions or critique welcomed! If you are interested in WASM, especially with new proposals like WASM GC or exception handling, it might be a good source of seeing these features in action - the project has a few thousand lines of hand written WAT so far.

Hey all, I just wanted to share a project I've been working on for the past month. After years of heavy frameworks, I really like the idea of using htmx, but it’s a little too low level for me and needs a thin layer above it to facilitate things like components, better syntax with complex JS inside of an attribute, etc To try and solve this problem with a very minimal stack (golang + htmx) that I've been really enjoying, I'm building this project to cater to my needs and was thinking it would be useful for other developers.

It is anticipated that in about six months, Nature will release a version available to the community. By then, there will be stable syntax API, a complete standard library, and support for development tools. Moreover,…

Hello, I'm building a WebAssembly compiler and documenting the process in the meantime. This aims to be a tool for demonstration and education purpose. It doesn't aim to do fancy stuff nor to replace existing ones. I'm building this to learn and to improve and hopefully it can be useful for others as well :) From last time I've presented the idea, I've implemented more basic features on Luna and I've built a custom and tiny runtime for Luna! (documenting it of course). Any feedback is really appreciated :) Repo: https://github.com/thomscoder/luna

A suite of tools that help with semantic code entities: https://github.com/odvcencio/gts-suite A next-gen version control system called Got: https://github.com/odvcencio/got I think this has some pretty big potential! I think there's many classes of application (particularly legacy architecture) that can benefit from these kinds of analysis tooling. My next post will be about composing all these together, an exciting project I call…

We are building `pcz` to provide a reimagination of Go the language, in an effort to make it suitable for all kinds of programming tasks, and currently you can use it to build efficient web applications in Go using the generated Web SDK (as shown with the live web demo[1]). The journey is just starting, any suggestions? or any critics? [1]: https://primecitizens.github.io/livedemos/10-plat-web/
