Hello, we're the Treenix team. We're building typed low-code runtime where humans and agents collaborate to build applications and workflows. Write a simple TypeScript class with methods, and Treenix automatically delivers admin interface, storage, API and MCP, access rules, UI form and audit trail. Views in Treenix are reactive, data-bound, and synced across all clients. They also support display contexts: data can render differently depending on the situation — a table in one place, a list in another. You can register multiple Views for the same data type, and the view engine picks the…

Hello HN! Just wanted to share a small project I've been working for the last few months. It's a tool called Runal, a text-based creative coding environment that runs in the terminal. It works similarly as processing or p5js but it does all the rendering as text. And it can either be scripted with JavaScript or used as a Go package. It's open-source and cross-platform (linux, macOS, windows). It seems to me that text/ascii-art aesthetics are really popular in creative coding communities, so I though it would make sense to create a tool that runs on a platform which can render text only.…

Hi HN! I built a free pixel art editor that runs entirely in the browser — no install, no signup, no watermark. The frontend is open source (MIT): https://github.com/comficker/simplepixelart What it does: - Sprite editor with layers, selections, mirror drawing, and an infinite-canvas workspace (multiple boards on one desk) - Frame-by-frame animation with onion skin, per-frame duration, GIF and spritesheet export - Tileset builder that auto-generates Wang-16 and blob-47 terrain sets from a single base tile — exports Godot 4 TileSet, Tiled .tsx, or PNG+JSON — plus a tilemap…

Written in Rust! (not really) I've been using Git for writing recently and was lacking a good UI for editing markdown files when away from the laptop. I created GitWriter to fill that gap. It's built with Expo and I added caching for offline editing with local sqlite, writing goals and a bunch of other features. Markdown is having a huge moment thanks to AI and more and more people are starting to see Git is a really solid choice for creative and technical writers. I've recently launched for iOS and would appreciate feedback!

Hello, I'm Hyunbin. Recently I made 'Rune' which is a small desktop .md writer/editor. I am aware that there are a lot of .md editor out there. but i wanted to build .md editor by myself. I've been specializing in UI for over a decade. Using code for UI is great but I always wished there was a more visual code to build apps and sites. So I went ahead and built it. Decided to build it with Compose Multiplatform since I work a lot with Kotlin. Currently exports to CMP as it was simpler due to the context switch. You can try it for free and export some apps

We've just released the first version of GPT React Designer. A live editor that can generate React components. Copy and pasting code before you see how it would look is tedious. The goal is to extend this into an app that supports different styling frameworks (Chakra, Bootstrap, ...). Potentially integrate it directly into a codebase to perform tasks and so on and allow non-developers to simply utilize this to copy & paste code.

I read Markdown all day, mostly Claude .md, and other AI outputs. Every app I have tried felt janky or too much work to just read an md file. I just wanted to open a .md file and read it the way Preview opens a PDF. So I built Kite, a Markdown reader for Mac. It has QuickLook just like Preview and I have baked in features that help people reading lot's of AI markdowns. It one-time purchase, no subscription. I put it on TestFlight so you can try it before paying anything. I would really like this crowd to try to break it. Tell me which files render wrong, what feels off, what is missing.…

Link: https://docs.trysoma.ai/ For the past ~9 months I’ve been building Soma, an open-source AI agent & workflow runtime written in Rust, with a TypeScript SDK (Python coming soon). It’s not a framework; it’s meant to sit underneath whatever agent/tooling code you already write (Vercel AI SDK, LangChain, custom code, etc.). It provides features around your framework + a better DX for building agents. I’ve tried to take a Next.JS model: open-source, good DX, self-deployable. I originally set out to build a vertical back-office/operations product for SMEs. I needed a…
