Hi Hackernews! My name is Sokrates and today I am launching indiebackers.dev I started working on Indiebackers once I realized that a lot of people (including myself) do all the heavy lifting, such as - A brand and logotype - Buy a domain - Make a landing page - Deploy a website - Coding if necessary All that jazz all to validate an idea? Existing platforms today focus primarily on launching. Indiebackers focus on the shaping of the idea until it's a MVP and ready to launch. Why would anyone want to become a early bird or adopter? Do you have side projects you created in the past, but no longer working on? We are creating a simple marketplace for developers to sell and buy side projects. Currently, we are finalizing the last minute details and we will be launching quite soon. We would love to have you signed up for the early access to get feedback. Link is here http://www.sideprojectors.com/project/hello Thank you.

Hi HN! I’ve been building a 2D game using a custom engine I wrote from scratch – no Unity, no frameworks. It’s fully self-funded and will be released commercially on Steam. Engine source code (MIT): http://github.com/willtobyte/carimbo I’d love feedback on the gameplay, visuals, performance, or anything else. Thanks!
