Products that do what Craftplan – Elixir-based micro-ERP for small-scale manufacturers does

My wife was planning to open a micro-bakery and we started looking at software to manage recipes, inventory, orders, and production. Everything was either expensive, too generic, or both. The workflows for a small-batch manufacturer aren’t that complex, but the pricing acts like they are. So I built Craftplan. All the features were tailored to what she actually needed, and I figured other small-scale manufacturers (soap makers, breweries, candle makers, etc.) probably need the same things. So I’m putting it out there for free. - Live demo: https://craftplan.fly.dev ([email protected]

My wife was planning to open a micro-bakery. We looked at production management software and it was all either expensive or way too generic. The actual workflows for a small-batch manufacturer aren't that complex, so I built one and open-sourced it. Craftplan handles recipes (versioned BOMs with cost rollups), inventory (lot traceability, demand forecasting, allergen tracking), orders, production batch planning, and purchasing. Built with Elixir, Ash Framework, Phoenix LiveView, and PostgreSQL. Live demo: https://craftplan.fly.dev ([email protected] / Aa123123123123) GitHub:…

The overall idea is to chart out the thousands of Mini PCs by benchmark and reveal the Pareto Front so you can get the most Compute per Dollar. Definitely a labor of love as I have a number of Mini PCs for my "homelab" (TrueNAS, piHole, Plex, basic stuff). It uses Gemini to extract specs from listings (since they're not often strongly categorized). Quick blog post here: https://luke.zip/posts/pareto-pcs/

Over the last 2-3 weeks, I vibecoded the recipe app that I always wished existed - recipeninja.ai . It now includes a fully interactive voice assistant so you don't need to get your dirty hands over your new iPad when you're cooking. Background: I’m a startup founder turned investor. I taught myself (bad) PHP in 2000, and picked up Ruby on Rails in 2011. I’d guess 2015 was the last time I wrote a line of Ruby professionally. Last month, I decided to use Windsurf to build a Rails 8 API backend and React front-end app, using OpenAI's realtime API for voice-to-voice responses. Over the last few…

I’ve spent the past 4 years building software for a knitting factory, including selecting and implementing an ERP. That experience was really painful. Most manufacturing ERPs are hard to evaluate before signing an enterprise contract, poorly documented, and clearly not designed with serious API users in mind. Even when APIs exist, they’re often inconsistent or bolted on as an afterthought. We built Augno to change that. The goal is to provide a Stripe-like experience for manufacturing ERP. We want it to be a usable out-of-the-box product and a well-designed, cohesive API that developers can…

We recently open-sourced Hive after using it internally to support real production workflows tied to contracts totaling over $500k. Instead of manually wiring workflows or building brittle automations, Hive is designed to let developers define a goal in natural language and generate an initial agent that can execute real tasks. Today, Hive supports goal-driven agent generation, multi-agent coordination, and production-oriented execution with observability and guardrails. We are actively building toward a system that can capture failure context, evolve agent logic, and continuously improve…

He HN, I'm an entrepreneur, and I help startups to ship products. I find out that for startups tools like Jira, Monday, slack and others are expensive and unnecessarily complex. That's why I decided to built a Freemium software for simplifying project management process. Workfeed is all-in-one soft, including docs, kanban boards. I plan to add chats in couple of months too. I hope this product will help you to manage your projects simpler and faster. Would love your feedback plz Enjoy !!

It’s not just your average recipe site – they’ve got an AI-powered feature that generates custom dessert recipes based on your preferences or available ingredients! If you’re short on time or ingredients, the site lets you tweak recipes on the fly. You can adjust ingredients to suit your pantry, dietary preferences, or time constraints, and the AI will instantly generate a new dessert idea for you. Super handy for those moments when you have a sweet tooth but not everything in your kitchen! For example, I tried out a brownie recipe and swapped out sugar for honey – worked like a charm! The…

We've recently made our product, ozma.io, open-source. It's a CRM/ERP platform for building enterprise systems. We believe that AI will soon handle implementing most of the boilerplate and UIs in the specialized business software. Just look at what lovable.dev does today! Soon products which make creating business software easier for developers will become obsolete, or transform into "libraries" to be used by AIs. We are losing this race, so we go the second route — publish everything and go on building other products on top of it. GitHub repo URL:…

Hello everyone. I'm a relatively new developer and I started my first project to go full production recently. It is a directory of payment processors and payment service providers. It's free to use and gives detailed info on their pricing, business model, supported business types, available countries, prohibited businesses and high risk business support. So far only 40 have been added with more to come. And I allow processors to contact me so that they're details can be added to the database. I'll eventually automate this and add verification the months to come. I hope you'll find it useful.…

Hi HN, Michael from Procoto [https://procoto.com] here. We’re making running RFPs (requests for proposal from outside vendors), tracking contracts, and managing vendors simple and affordable. We get procurement teams out of dense systems and spreadsheets without having to drop a hefty check on SAP or Coupa. How are we doing it?
