Fibre AI▲126Hi HN! We're introducing Fibre - secure file uploads for Intercom. Fibre came out of a real pain point we hit using Intercom for support. We needed customers to upload sensitive docs all the time - proof of address, ID verification, business documents etc. However, customers kept pushing back - they didn't feel comfortable sending sensitive files to Intercom. Not forgetting the privacy and GDPR challenges, and the 100MB limit for file uploads. So what happened? Everyone just fell back to email. Sharing screen is really scary today with all PIIs and secrets sprawling around your screen, so I built [name-redacted], a small Chrome extension that spots API keys, tokens, emails, and throws a blur overlay on them in real time. The goal is to make screen-sharing feel safe again without adding steps to a demo. Everything runs locally—regex + entropy heuristics compiled to WASM—and the extra CPU cost averages ~1 ms per mutation on my M1. Custom rules can be added with a JSON file for teams that have proprietary token formats. visit [url-redacted] Feedback please <3

Hey there HN Community! I’m excited to share some news with you – we’ve recently launched Remanent, a tool that helps web3 companies keep their platforms safe and compliant. Remanent has been built for Web3 projects like Exchanges, Marketplaces, DeFi companies, and more. Anyone can check if a wallet address belongs to the US OFAC Sanctions list, turn on email alerts for future transactions, and generate reports to share with their team. We’ve received a lot of positive feedback from users who’ve tried Remanent, and we would love for you to give it a go as well; be sure to dig into the API…
