24 alternatives to Stressio
Hello everyone! After a few months of working on it in my free time, I just launched my biggest project since I started learning programming in August 2024. It’s called Stressio, and it’s a tool designed for companies, especially managers. Employees can anonymously log their stress levels, and managers get a heatmap showing which months are the most stressful. This helps teams identify patterns and take action where needed. There are still some features I want to add, but they’ll come in future updates. Link: https://stressio.dev

Hey HN, I am building an open source platform to make on-call better and less stressful for engineers. We are building a tool that can silence alerts and help with debugging and root cause analysis. We also want to automate tedious parts of being on-call (running runbooks manually, answering questions on Slack, dealing with Pagerduty). Here is a quick video of how it works: https://youtu.be/m_K9Dq1kZDw I hated being on-call for a couple of reasons: * Alert volume: The number of alerts kept increasing over time. It was hard to maintain existing alerts. This would lead to a lot…

On-Call Health▲116We built On-Call Health because our industry has gotten very good at keeping systems healthy, but does little for the engineers on call managing them. On-call can be rough: 97% of engineers experience stress during incidents, 87% after, and 56% experience sleep disruption even without getting paged. We integrate with devtools like Rootly, PagerDuty, Linear, Jira, and Slack (for self-reported data). The tool doesn't provide a diagnosis, but it surfaces signals that a team or individual might be struggling. It's free to use and open-source (we also have a hosted version with mock data if you…

EndurePath▲128Hi there, EndurePath has been my main project over the past few months, and I’d love to get feedback from the HN community. The main focus of this application is to improve your mood in a moment and help you to keep it as positive as it can be in your circumstances. For those reasons I’ve added simple mood tracking, tiny tasks, and to keep you engaged personal companion with AI insights. Disclaimer: it’s NOT your personal psychologist or complex application with tasks that cure your past traumas and I don’t have plans to add complex tasks, since there better alternatives that already exists.

Mood▲97Hey HN, I've had this idea stuck in my head ever since I published Year in Pixels [1]. I've been adding a little thing here and there to this app, and now it feels nice enough to share. It's very interesting what daily tracking does to one's mind. While I already have apps to track everything else like sleep, heart rate, etc., I was still missing something to track my mood. The simple act of thinking about how you feel a couple of times a day already changes things. A moment of reflection. I opted to add Astrology, Checks (habits), and other goodies. Hope you like it as much as I do. Best,…

Care to share a screenshot and the 'killer feature' of any of your personal, self-built productivity tools? eg. I made my own calendar and money-tracker last year - there are no other users, it makes no money, I have no plans to make it public, but it holds my life together :) http://i.imgur.com/h2keJDg.png GREAT BECAUSE... it tells me how much I'm going to get paid this month. Absolutely no ulterior motive here (ie. I'm not canvassing opinions for a productivity app startup or anything), just interested.
