Hi HN - I've been working on this site on and off for awhile. It started out as a personal tool and fun thing to hack on in my spare time. I recently added some UI improvements and a landing page and thought maybe it would be nice for other people to use as well. The idea was to create the fastest/easiest way to share a link to collect realtime feedback from a person's phone during a presentation or video call. A few days ago, I responded to a comment by bloggergirl offering to read anyone's web copy and help. I shot off an email hoping for a paragraph or two of feedback on my startup's copy. Instead I received a professional, detailed deck of tons of invaluable well thought out feedback. It must have taken her an entire afternoon. I built this out of frustration as I lead the development of AI features at Yola.com. Prompt testing should be simple and straightforward. All I wanted was a simple way to test prompts with variables and jinja2 templates across different models, ideally somthing I could open during a call, run few tests, and share results with my team. I’ve always found it funny how simple feedback widgets end up as $20–$30/month products. The tech is dead simple, infra is cheap, and most of us here could rebuild one in a weekend. So as a “principle experiment” I built my own today as a side project and priced it at 1 dollar. Just because if something is cheap to run and easy to replicate, it should be priced accordingly, and it’s also fun marketing. 1$ feedback tool. Shipped today, got the first users/moneys today, writing this post today. Side Sunday project, then back to the main product tomorrow.

A simple Flask application that allows you to add inline feedback elements to any website and collect user feedback on-the-fly without disrupting your user experience. Just add a small code snippet to your HTML and use special SPAN elements in your code to dynamically create feedback widgets wherever you want. Hi! This is a web app I made over the past few days as a little project to learn more about AngularJS and Firebase. The app lets you create a simple poll in a matter of seconds and without the need to register. The votes and comments are updated in real time. I was impressed by Angular's features and its relative ease of learning. Hi HN, I started building this around 6 months back. Having a full-time job makes it difficult to work on a side project. People say the hardest part is marketing but repetitive development is very boring. I will definitely choose a fun-ner side project than this if this fails.
