You can get a 2h free trial by solving a proof-of-work captcha when topping up your account for the first time. If you'd like to learn more, an independent interview was posted a couple of weeks ago [1], and the FAQ [2] has a lot of information as well. For the source code sharing, we've talked with lawyers and are inclined to no longer require the NDA/NCC for privacy reasons shared with us before (signing requires identification), but instead use a source-available permissive license that doesn't allow competition, like PolyForm Shield [3] (we do still have about 6 months before…

TokenDagger is a drop-in replacement for OpenAI’s Tiktoken (the tokenizer behind Llama 3, Mistral, GPT-3.*, etc.). It’s written in C++ 17 with thin Python bindings, keeps the exact same BPE vocab/special-token rules, and focuses on raw speed. I’m teaching myself LLM internals by re-implementing the stack from first principles. Profiling TikToken’s Python/Rust implementation showed a lot of time was spent doing regex matching. Most of my perf gains come from a) using a faster jit-compiled regex engine; and b) simplifying the algorithm to forego regex matching special tokens at all.…

A few months ago, I benchmarked FastAPI on an i9 MacBook Pro. I couldn't believe my eyes. A primary REST endpoint to `sum` two integers took 6 milliseconds to evaluate. It is okay if you are targeting a server in another city, but it should be less when your client and server apps are running on the same machine. FastAPI would have bottleneck-ed the inference of our lightweight UForm neural networks recently trending on HN under the title "Beating OpenAI CLIP with 100x less data and compute". (Thank you all for the kind words!) So I wrote another library. It has been a while since I have…

BoringSSL and nghttp2. Matches JA3N, JA4, and JA4_R fingerprints. Supports HTTP/2, async/await, and works with Cloudflare-protected sites. Not trying to compete with curl_cffi - just a learning project that turned into something functional.

I built Nocaptcha after getting frustrated with traditional CAPTCHAs both as a user and developer. WebAuthn passkeys offered a promising alternative that's both more secure and user-friendly. What makes Nocaptcha different: - Uses WebAuthn standard instead of puzzle-solving - No need for users to remember passwords or solve puzzles - Open source Current limitation: Working with W3C WebAuthn Community Group on true passkey disposal for this use case. Looking for feedback particularly on: 1. Integration experience 2. User experience compared to traditional CAPTCHAs

Inspired by the recent justfuckingusetailwind.com, I built a similar "love letter" to the Cloudflare ecosystem. I find myself reaching for Workers, R2, D1, and KV for almost every project lately, so I wanted to capture that sentiment in a single, slightly over-the-top page. It’s a simple side project, but the stack is: - Vite + TypeScript - Biome + Ultracite - Deployed (obviously) on Cloudflare First draft in Claude, the copy was drafted with Grok to get that specific tone, then I used Google's AI Studio to accelerate the build with touch up's in Cursor.
