I've created tascli to solve a need of simple activity tracker including task and record in local CLI. It's available via cargo and brew tap. It's simple, the API is minimal and without complex usage patterns. It supports both task and records and treat them separately (task have deadlines, records are point in time) It doesn't run any background processes. It is small (compiled sizes <2MB) It is fast (<5ms on each command on a normal computer/github workflow host). It stores activities into a local sqlite db file. Looking for new features requests too!

Hi HN! I've been building Dayflow, a macOS app that automatically tracks what you're actually working on (not just which apps you have open). Traditional time trackers tell you "3 hours in Chrome" which is not very helpful. Dayflow actually understands if you're reading documentation, debugging code, or scrolling HN. Instead of "Chrome: 3 hours", you get…

Tracciafree tier, from $99/mo▲197AI applications are becoming agents, which has started to take autonomous decisions. There are plenty of tools and platform available to trace, and observe what an agent or llms calls does. They are good in what they do, but tracing and observability isnt enough for AI agents era. We need a solution that can help you observe, evaluate, create run time policies to govern and finally audit the actions of the agent. We built Traccia to solve this problem. The good part, all of these can be achieved by just writing few lines of code. Traccia has an open-sourced sdk that can work with your…
