Hi everybody, I’m Roman from Termius (YC W19, HN launch https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=20118727). I want to share news about a new exciting feature that we wanted to build for a long time. It’s Terminal Sharing. Terminal Sharing enables engineers to get instant help from their colleagues by providing a link to their terminal output updated in real-time. There is also a mode where the viewer can enter commands from their end. When I was getting into programming, some of my biggest problems were: compilation errors or not being able to set up something on a Linux server.…

Made this to use my laptop terminal session on mobile without data going through a server. tt start -p mypassword → get a URL (qrcode) → open in browser → enter password → connected. Direct webrtc datachannel between your machine and browser. Signaling server is a cloudflare worker, exchanges ~2KB of sdp/ice metadata then gets out of the way. Password never transmitted - argon2id derives 256-bit key locally on both ends. All terminal i/o gets nacl secretbox encryption before hitting the datachannel. double encrypted with dtls underneath but I wanted the relay to see nothing useful…

Portal▲181Hey HN, I'm Zach, founder of Portal. Portal lets you share a live sandbox browser session as a link. Try it here: https://www.makeportals.com/try Instead of asking someone to sign up, install software, or book a demo for user research, onboarding, or sales, you send a link and they interact with the real product in a sandboxed browser environment, then you get session replays. Each viewer gets a fresh remote browser instance that starts from a defined state (URL, cookies, extensions, local files, etc). Sessions are isolated and expire automatically. The sessions have…

Seeing all the hype around Bolt.new, I decided to give it a try, and within just 30 minutes, I built a fully functional web app for screen sharing. How It Works: - One user opens a room and receives a unique code. - Participants join by simply entering the code to view the shared screen. After that initial build, I moved the project to Cursor to continue iterating and enhancing its features. Claudebin▲258Hi HN, We use Claude Code a lot, and after a long session there isn't a simple way to share exactly what happened with someone else. Prompts, responses, file edits, and tool calls all stay inside the terminal. We built Claudebin to make that easier. It's a plugin that lets you export the current session as a URL containing: - the full message thread - file reads and writes - bash commands - web and MCP calls You can send the link to someone, attach it to a PR, embed part of it, or resume the session locally. It's open source. GitHub:…
