I built a CLI tool that turns codebases and PRs into diagrams so you can quickly understand how things fit together. Originally made it because I couldn't follow my own AI-generated repos. Just shipped a big update: - Switched from D2 to Mermaid for rendering - Tree-sitter AST parsing + agentic flow instead of raw LLM calls. ~50x faster. - Works on any GitHub repo or PR, not just local - Dropped the web frontend, it's just a CLI now - Published as a pip package Still a ton to improve and I'm building fast. Feedback, issues, PRs all welcome.

Hey again HN. Isaac and I originally released a voice-first code review tool, but have since open-sourced it and turned it into just a better way to review your and your team's Github PRs. Main things we've heard that make code reviews slower are: 1) PRs are too big and overwhelming 2) Need to jump around to find the right context and relevant code 3) Need to spend time thinking (should not be a thing since AI exists), and writing comments What we built to address these: 1) PRs are split up into sub-PRs without needing to actually split them up and stack them yourself -> Automatically done…

I was frustated by having to draw system design diagrams by hand when discussing it with my team mates or in an interview. So I thought "Wouldn't it be great if someone draws it for me, while I think out loud?". That is when I came up with VoiceDraw. You can just think out loud or discuss your system architecture with a friend/interviewer, the diagrams are automatically drawn along with your reasoning, open questions and tradeoffs beautifully written on to the side. I’ve spent the last 2.5 months building a product that runs LLM-powered code reviews on my pull requests — and I just launched it. The tool is built specifically for solo developers. You install it on your repo, trigger a scan by creating a pull request, and it leaves structured review comments using OpenAI under the hood. Funnily enough, I used the dev version of this app to review its own pull requests while building it. It helped me spot bugs, simplify structure, and keep quality high — all with minimal need for another human in the loop. Things I want to try out in the next months : -…

Hey HN! I'm Hussam, a Senior Algorithm Engineer at CodiumAI. We launched PR Agent a little over a year ago — it’s a free and open-source tool that helps with reviewing pull requests. The response has been great and more than 70 contributors have added to the project. Today, we're launching PR Agent as a browser extension. Key features: - AI Chat in PRs: You can ask questions about specific code changes and the context is passed to the AI model - Automated Code Reviews: The /review command does an automated review, focusing on potential bugs, security issues, and best practice violations…

I built this because I was tired of creating pull requests in 20 repositories just to change a single line of workflow job version. With Infra as AI, just mention the change. Agents work on all repos in parallel, read the docs, make a bunch of PRs and fill in the description. You can see the demo of the actual dashboard in the landing. Let me know your thoughts :) It means a lot to me!
