In plain words
Fusion is a developer tool that connects to GitHub repositories and uses AI to generate production-ready UI code based on your design system and APIs. It automates the workflow by opening branches, creating pull requests, and providing live previews for each change, allowing developers to work at any scale. The tool is designed for teams looking to streamline their code generation and UI development process.

From the sources
Fusion links directly to your GitHub repos and learns your design system and APIs, then uses AI to generate and visually edit production-ready UI code in place. It opens a branch, pushes a PR, and spins up a live preview for every change.
Create real product experiences that stay on brand, in code, and ready to ship. Everyone works from the same source of truth, with the context they need and no handoffs to clean up later. Code in Builder or your AI tool of choice, then push the branch so designers, PMs, and QA can polish pixels, edit copy, and run tests in the real app. Every change uses your code and design system, so it comes back cleaner and closer to merge. Try new directions, refine layouts, and ship polished UI in the real product with your design system already wired in. The details you obsess over stay intact all the way to production. Act on customer feedback, stakeholder requests, and experiment ideas from Slack…from builder.io

21st.dev2025 · 21st.dev · ▲1,211I originally built this app to organize and reuse interesting React + Tailwind components I came across on Twitter, inspired by the shadcn/ui approach. Later, a friend started contributing their own components, and it got me thinking—this could grow into something bigger, like an NPM for design engineers to share and use components. Would love to hear your thoughts!

Hey HN! Pilots everywhere are required to keep a logbook of all their flying hours, aircraft, airports, and so on. Since I track everything digitally (some people still just use paper logbooks!), I put together some data visualizations and a few 3D globes to show my flying history. This globe is probably my favourite so far: https://jameshard.ing/pilot/globes/all If you’ve got ideas for other graphs or ways to show this kind of data, I’d love to hear them!

I was the main contributor to workout.lol, an open-source fitness app to easily build a workout routine. The project had traction (1.4k GitHub stars, 95 forks, ~20K visits/month), but was eventually sold due to video licensing hurdles. The new owner stopped maintaining it, and the repo went abandoned. Over the next 9 months, I sent 15 emails to try to save it : no replies. Feature requests & issues were ignored. The community was left with a "broken" tool let's say. I couldn't just let it die So I built the new version from scratch with the same open-source spirit, but a better…
