Hey all, As a CEO of a growing startup I don't get to code as often as I like and when I do, I try not to annoy my team with my terrible code :) So to scratch the itch, I've built some of side projects related to what our company does. This was posted before but I'm quite pleased to share a major update for https://oikolab.com. We now have available seven decades of hourly weather data starting from 1950 for any location in the world, thanks to the recent publication of ERA5 reanalysis data from European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF). I've been working on linecast, a free and open source collection of six terminal applications: weather, radar, sunshine, moon, tides, and maps. It's as if the Old Farmer's Almanac was built for Minitel.
