24 alternatives to v0 for iOS
While using iTerm2 while busy working today, I once again felt frustrated by having too many tabs and losing the overall perspective of what tasks were in progress. So, I used v0 + Opus 4.5 to envision an ideal Terminal tab management UI in my mind, to demonstrate the best way for me to manage tabs in the terminal. What do you think?
v0 for iOS is an AI assistant that helps developers design, iterate, and scale full-stack web applications. It functions as a collaborative tool for building web projects directly from an iOS device. The app is… Below are 24 products that do a similar job, ranked by how close each is in meaning and then by launch-day votes.

Vy by Vercept▲144Hi HN, I am Kiana, I was an AI researcher for 10 years, and since last November I have been working on Vy. Vy is a desktop app for Mac and Windows. It sees your screen and controls mouse and keyboard to automate workflows across apps, including ones without APIs. I know there is a lot of skepticism about AI agents, and I share some of it. A lot of things in this space look impressive in demos and then fall apart on real, boring work. So here are a few concrete things that Vy does today that we and early users actually rely on: Where it works best Tasks that you could explain in a paragraph…

Superapp▲498Hi HN We're Vitalik (Ex-Bolt) and Stas (Ex-Grammarly, Wix) We build a MacOS vibecoding tool for native Swift iOS apps, that replaces Xcode for non-developers. Features: - Project Creation agent makes a real Xcode project in the background. - Design Agent creates design system using SwiftUI (supports glassmorphism ) - Coding Agent is quite efficient with caching and parallel tool calls. - The app gets build on your mac using iOS simulator and runtime, any bugs are passed back to coding agent. Requirements: - You still need an Xcode on your machine, but don't need to open it. Website:…

Hey everyone, Really excited to share what I've been working on. Rapidpages is a prompt-first online IDE, think midjourney for front-end developers. I've been working on this for a while and it's great to see some interest from companies like Vercel in this space. All you need for self-hosting is an OpenAI key and a GitHub oauth app. Simply clone the repo and play with it. It's also available on the cloud at www.rapidpages.io Please give it a try and let me know if you have any feedback, and if you like what I'm doing with Rapidpages, please give it a star on GitHub. Thanks!

AI Playground▲159Finding notes fast is still hard. You can organize with tags, PARA, or backlinks, but searching always feels slow and frustrating. That’s why I built ConniePad - native app on macOS & iOS. It works offline and lets you capture notes quickly anywhere. It has a comprehensive editor and local speech-to-text on iOS, so you can jot down ideas even without internet. But capturing notes is only half the story. What about finding what you need? ConniePad uses AI search. You can type queries like you would in Google or ChatGPT. It understands similar words, wrong typos, and abbreviations, so you get…

Hello everyone! I'm a solo developer who's been doing UI/UX work since 2007. Over the years, I watched design tools evolve from lightweight products into bloated feature-heavy platforms. I kept finding myself using a small amount of the features while the rest just mostly got in the way. So a few years ago I set out to build a design tool just like I wanted. So I built Vecti with what I actually need: pixel-perfect grid snapping, a performant canvas renderer, shared asset libraries, and export/presentation features. No collaborative whiteboarding. No plugin ecosystem. No enterprise…

Friendware▲190Hey HN, I built Friendware because I wanted autocomplete that works everywhere on my Mac, not just in code editors. In any text field it can draft replies, rewrite text, and write prompts for AI tools; it uses on-screen context to adjust based on what you’re doing. My goal was making it feel native and not require workflow changes, so it stays accessible across apps by living in the notch. Currently working on better voice learning and a memory system, would love feedback on what to prioritize!

Hey, Jared Palmer (creator of this playground) here. Really excited to ship this. I’ve been building this over the past few weeks to compare LLMs from different providers like OpenAI, Anthropic, Cohere, etc. At Vercel, I manage our Frameworks division (including Next.js, Svelte, and Turbo) and wanted to also dogfood some of the latest features in a slightly larger application. This playground takes a lot of inspiration from https://nat.dev and is built on Tailwind, ui.shadcn.com, and some upcoming Vercel products we’re announcing soon. We’re going to continue adding models to…

Hey HN! We’ve built a tool that dynamically adjusts the complexity of software interfaces based on a user's interaction with it. It works by hiding non-essential/advanced UI elements for new users, reducing cognitive load and guiding them to their "aha moment" more efficiently. We refer to this as „simple mode“. Non-essential features are progressively revealed when the user is ready to use them, and we’ve also added an option for users to manually switch „simple mode“ off. Every Feature in vykee consists of Elements. Elements can be selected via UI picker or via code by adding the…

This lets you talk to local LLMs in Apple Notes. I saw Obsidian Ollama (https://github.com/hinterdupfinger/obsidian-ollama) and thought it was handy, but I'm too lazy to migrate away from the Apple ecosystem, so I quickly hacked this together. I tend to use Notes as a scratchpad for prompts, so it's nice to do some quick inference without leaving the app. Notes doesn't really support plugins so I'm using the macOS accessibility API for reading selections and then stream responses using the clipboard (not ideal but it works).
