Hi HN, We've been frustrated with how confidently LLMs hallucinate—a dangerous flaw in high-stakes domains like health and medicine. The standard "I am not an expert" disclaimer feels insufficient since we all ignore those statements. Our approach is a RAG/agentic system built to solve this. It runs on ~40M+ scientific papers, but goes beyond simple retrieval. A multi-agent workflow decomposes queries, cross-references claims against multiple sources, and synthesizes answers, ensuring every key statement is cited directly from the literature. Beyond the literature, our agent system has…

Hey HN, I just updated my project that compares some LLMs. It uses your prompt for all the models and runs at the same time. You can see the results being generated in real-time and decide what's the best for your use case. I'm open to any suggestions and feedback. Thanks!

Hi HN, A couple weeks ago I shared an early version of a side project I’ve been tinkering with called Persistent Mind Model. I built it at home on an i7-10700K / 32GB RAM / RTX 3080 because I was curious whether an AI could keep a stable “mind” over time, that could "think" about it's own identity as an LLM, instead of resetting every session. After a lot more tinkering, I think the architecture is finally in a solid place. Basically, it saves everything the AI does, thoughts, decisions, updates as a chain of events in a local SQLite database. Because the “identity” is stored in…

Hi, this is Tristan, CPO of XTrace. We are launching a very cool feature that is inspired by Andrey Karpathy's LLM Wiki mindmap. Let everyone who doesn't have enough sessions and markdowns made with claude code be able to visualize their own memory mindmap!

Hi HN! I built LLM OneStop (https://www.llmonestop.com), a unified interface for accessing multiple AI language models in one place. The main problem I wanted to solve: constantly switching between different AI platforms, managing multiple subscriptions, and losing conversation context when comparing outputs across models. Key features: Switch between GPT-4, Claude, Gemini, Llama, and other models mid-conversation Compare responses side-by-side Single interface instead of juggling multiple tabs/subscriptions Free tier available to try it out (no credit card needed) "Connect"…

Hey, folks here is a peek into Jujutsu. We at Poozle are working with hundreds of APIs and it has been always frustrating to 1. Search the API in the documentation or ask ChatGPT 2. Then copy it to the postman and understand/test the API 3. Generate code to integrate into the codebase We thought how about having all of this at one place. We currently fine-tuned LLM on public REST APIs to reduce hallucination and then combined it with ChatGPT and Postman. I look forward to feedback, feature requests and discussions!

I use the following custom instruction to maximise honest, accurate, factual responses and decrease sycophancy in LLMs that support custom instructions. Below I have provided instructions on how to achieve this in Gemini and ChatGPT. Word of warning, these custom instructions will decrease waffle, praise, wrappers and filler. But they will remove all warmth and engagement. The output can become quite ruthless. For ChatGPT 1. Visit https://chatgpt.com/ 2. Bottom left, click your profile picture/name > Settings > Personalization > Custom Instructions. 3. What traits should…

I kept running into this annoying problem: I’d remember a really useful answer, but not where it was. ChatGPT? Claude? Gemini? No idea. So I’d end up digging through all of them or just rewriting the prompt. Built this to fix that. It’s a Chrome extension that indexes chats locally and lets you search across them all in one place. Once it’s indexed, search is basically instant. Still early. UIs change and break things sometimes, so it’s a bit fragile in places. Curious if other people have the same issue or if it’s just me jumping between tools too much.

As a handsome local AI enjoyer™ you’ve probably noticed one of the big flaws with LLMs: It lies. Confidently. ALL THE TIME. I’m autistic and extremely allergic to vibes-based tooling, so … I built a thing. Maybe it’s useful to you too. The thing: llama-conductor llama-conductor is a router that sits between your frontend (eg: OWUI) & backend (llama.cpp + llama-swap). Local-first but it should talk to anything OpenAI-compatible if you point it there (note: experimental so YMMV). LC is a glass-box that makes the stack behave like a deterministic system, instead of a drunk telling a story about…
