I went nuts on Sunday after stumbling on this animator script for the automatic branch: https://github.com/Animator-Anon/Animator And then it's a ton of keyframing. I also found that the timings all have to be earlier than the timestamp you want to account for how long it takes to denoise to your new scene - so like .4 gives smoother but longer, .7 is snappy. I know mentioning Michael Seibel is almost cheating, but this week he demonstrated the "leaky pipes" concept to me. Hello! I love anki and have been using it for years to learn mandarin, but I'm lazy and always struggled to get over the "motivation hump" to sit down and create a deck. Recently I've been consuming a lot of AI content from youtube, and spent 3 days creating a deck for Andrej Karpathy's "Deep Dive into LLMs" video. The idea: what if you could get a “Masterclass”-style experience, but free, using existing YouTube content? So I made OpenCademy — right now it only has two quick startup "courses" (101 & 102), built from curated YouTube clips, all embedded and organized into modules. Saw the remotion claude skills launch earlier, and honestly even though I was surprised how decent some of the results turned out to be I ended up never trying it out with claude code because I knew I'd have to setup remotion, bundler etc and if I was already doing it once I thought I might as well turn it into a site where anyone could just write messages and get a video without any prerequisites.
