Based on the multiple "Who's hiring remotely?" and similar posts on HN, I thought it might be useful to have a site that aggregates remote programming jobs. There is way too much spam out and an inconsistent way to say "work from home" so traditional searching doesn't work (or rather, takes a long time per person). I always find myself frustrated by how many steps I have to take to video chat with someone online. There's always too much software to download and install, and too many accounts to remember. The high-end, high-price Cisco conferencing systems I've used are especially fragile. So I built Vidless in a weekend for myself, and I hope you find it useful too. Care to share a screenshot and the 'killer feature' of any of your personal, self-built productivity tools? eg. I've been experimenting with ways to increase AI adoption for non-technical people. Basically, all companies are pushing for AI because it's all over the news and they feel left behind but most people have no clue where to start. I think 90% of people (ie non coders) are sufficiently well served by using cowork instead of claude code or something similar. If we can get people from sales, customer support, marketing, etc to collaborate with skills and cowork to form a company brain, I think it's gold. We are a small team bootstrapping a human chatbot. It is like a chatbot, but real people answer the chats. You install our widget on a website, we connect our team and immediately start answering, 24/7. How does it work? It is cloud customer service. The operators are shared between the websites, hence lowering the price. What happens if the operator doesn't know how to answer? We collect the visitor's contacts and create a ticket.
