Products that do what We polled 2,122 Americans on AI and regulation, and built a visualizer does

We are researchers from Johns Hopkins University who wanted to measure American attitudes toward specific AI regulations. So we ran a poll, with SurveyUSA as our partner, to collect the data from a nationally representative sample, and we built a data-explorer to share it. We included questions about where people trust or do not trust AI, and how they expect AI to alter power, inequality, and the meaningfulness of work. There is also a quiz to try, if (a) you want to locate your own AI attitudes relative to the population, or (b) if you're just one of those people who love taking quizzes.…

Hey HN, This is a Show HN (poorly) disguised as an Ask HN. I'm launching https://www.parliant.ai, a survey tool that rethinks how surveys are created and answered. Instead of building forms, the survey creator just writes what they want to learn and AI takes it from there, chatting with respondents to get meaningful answers. To show how it works, I’ve created a short demo survey with the question in the title. The idea is for you to try it out and see the respondent experience, which is really the core of the innovation. I’d love to get your answers and your feedback. The survey is…

I wanted a way for people to support companies and people that align with their political beliefs. Additionally, I think it can serve as a valuable, source-linked public ledger of who said and did what over time, especially as incentives change and people try to rewrite their positions. This is fully AI-coded, researched, and sourced. Additionally, AI helped develop the scoring system. The evidence gathering is done by a number of different agents through OpenRouter that gather and classify source-backed claims. The point of that is not to pretend bias disappears, but to avoid me manually…

Hey HN, I’m Chris, a solo dev in Melbourne AU. For the past month I've been spending my after work hours building AgentVisa. I'm both excited (and admittedly nervous) to be sharing it with you all today. I've been spending a lot of time thinking about the future of AI agents and the more I experimented, the more I realized I was building on a fragile foundation. How do we build trust into these systems? How do we know what our agents are doing, and who gave them permission? My long-term vision is to give developers an "Agent Atlas" - a clear map of their agentic workforce, showing where…

Hi HN! I built this tool, because Large Language Models are hallucinating their asses off and I wanted to test just how bad it is with a topic I know best - myself. I'm sure there are other egos out there who google themselves and essentially this is the new googling yourself. It's early beta, so lots of room for improvement of course.

Hi everyone, We have been developing a platform to enable professionals to build AI assistants to help them through their work. After a few months, we realized people are trying to sell basic functionalities that can be built from scratch in a couple of hours. Due to this, individuals who are not familiar with the current SOTA are misinformed about the potential of generative models. So, we decided to open up some of our most popular templates as standalone tools for free to empower individuals and set a solid standard for what people should expect. We believe the barrier to accessing…

So I've been obsessed with a weird question for the past 6 months, what happens to SEO when everyone starts asking ChatGPT for recommendations instead of Googling? The answer, apparently, is chaos. And maybe opportunity? I built FirstClick because I noticed something strange. My previous startup was getting zero traffic from AI assistants, but our competitor (objectively worse product, sorry not sorry) was getting mentioned by Claude and Perplexity constantly. It drove me crazy. So I reverse engineered why. Turns out there's a whole new game being played and most founders don't even know it…

I've been experimenting with ways to increase AI adoption for non-technical people. Basically, all companies are pushing for AI because it's all over the news and they feel left behind but most people have no clue where to start. I think 90% of people (ie non coders) are sufficiently well served by using cowork instead of claude code or something similar. If we can get people from sales, customer support, marketing, etc to collaborate with skills and cowork to form a company brain, I think it's gold. So I think there's opportunity for the community to share skills that work well for 1000s of…
