Products that do what WebRTC helped me to launch my startup after 2 years of waiting. does

Hi All ,I been working on my idea , A Voice CRM solution for 2 years. When I started brainstorming the idea the only option I have to receive phone calls thru browser was a flash widget or use 3rd party providers like Twilio or Phono . Thanks to WebRTC we now integrated our VoIP services to receive and make calls directly thru browser .Please have a look and give us your feedback .Thanks Voz.io Team .

I spent the last few days building out a nicer ChatGPT-like interface to use Mistral 7B and Llama 3 fully within a browser (no deps and installs). I’ve used the WebLLM project by MLC AI for a while to interact with LLMs in the browser when handling sensitive data but I found their UI quite lacking for serious use so I built a much better interface around WebLLM. I’ve been using it as a therapist and coach. And it’s wonderful knowing that my personal information never leaves my local computer. Should work on Desktop with Chrome or Edge. Other browsers are adding WebGPU support as well - see…

Hey it's Andrew - author of https://www.crowdwave.com here! - crowdwave works best on your phone - unless you've got your headset and microphone plugged in to your desktop, in which case desktop works great too. Here's the story: So about six months ago I saw this post on HN https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=39910119 https://afterthebeep.tel is really cool - it's an anonymous voicemail box - you call the provided phone the number and leave a message. Blaine - the guy who runs the site (eventually) listens to and approves your message and writes a…

Hi, I have published a mobile app to have coffee chat with HN users. There was already a guy who made a website for this, but I wanted to do it in mobile to practice WebRTC(technology behind the audio chat) and have some fun. I haven't spent too much time in terms of the general functionality as a HN client but can upgrade it if there are enough users enjoying the app. You can download the apps via the links below; IOS: https://apps.apple.com/tr/app/betternews-coffee-chat/id65047... Android: As you might have known, Android requires the app to be tested in a…

hi! video[0] The idea is you could carry around this hardware and ask it any questions about the conference. Who is speaking, what are they speaking about etc... it connects via WebRTC to a LLM and you get a bunch of info. This is a workshop/demo project I did for a conference. When I was talking to the organizers I mentioned that I enjoy doing hardware + WebRTC projects. They thought that was cool and so we ran with it. I have been doing these ESP32 + voice ai projects for a bit now. Started with an embedded sdk for livekit[1] that jul 2024 and been noodling with it since then. This…

I wrote this over the last couple of weeks using Rails 3, Twilio and a variety of Gems, putting in about 2 hours per day. I'd love any feedback from the HN community on any aspects of the site (design, API construction, documentation, marketing, pricing which is TBD). On a related note: I have to say that I'm really flying with Rails 3. Typically I roll with Django, but have been super impressed with the Rails 3. Feels really clean, and there are some Gems that make the more mundane parts of the webapp construction fun and agile: Haml/Sass, blueprint, Fancy-buttons, Devise. I'll probably…

I built this to call my mom. FaceTime wasn't working reliably across our connection, so I threw together a WebRTC app. The quality surprised me, better than I expected, and it worked where FaceTime didn't. just-call.app — no sign-up, no install, just a link. Happy to answer questions or take feedback.

VoiceLine has built a chrome extension that allows you to record, share, and play voice notes within any browser-based application. We’re using an STT model to transcribe your notes into what we call a VoiceLine, a hybrid audio-text snippet, to address the problems of conventional voice messaging. Since we’ve been in closed beta as a seed-stage startup, here’s a direct link to get access: https://app.getvoiceline.com/6b29fbc80d Our vision is to introduce a new category of professional voice communication by building our service as a layer, not yet another instant messenger…

Hey all, I’m super happy to share the official launch of the VoiceLine Chrome Extension that my colleagues and I have been building over the last year.
