Paste Markdown and get a link to share with anyone

Inspired by the design and UI/UX of apps like Notion, and utility of open-source apps like StackEdit, I decided to create a minimalistic, local-only WYSIWYG Markdown editor. Some features worth highlighting: - Monaco editor and Prettier integration for code snippets - Tables (apparently the holy grail of WYSIWYG editing) - Embeds (for CodePen, CodeSandbox and YouTube, most useful for HTML or JSON exports) - Accepts Markdown paste-in, and "exports"/generates HTML, Markdown and JSON outputs - Collaboration (with real-time awareness and initial commenting system, available only when…

This is just a small thing I coded to help me see my entire convo history in beautiful markdown, in Obsidian (my note-taking app). [Link to Github repo](https://github.com/mohamed-chs/chatgpt-history-export-to-md). The Python script helps you to convert conversations extracted from ChatGPT (ZIP export all your data, sent by Openai) into neatly formatted Markdown files. Also adds YAML metadata headers and includes Code interpreter (Advanced data analysis) intput / output code. Feel free to fork the repo and implement your own improvements, I feel like there's alot…

Hi HN I built mdto.page because I often needed a quick way to share Markdown notes or documentation as a proper webpage, without setting up a GitHub repo or configuring a static site generator. I wanted something dead simple: upload Markdown -> get a shareable public URL. Key features: Instant Publishing: No login or setup required. Flexible Expiration: You can set links to expire automatically after 1 day, 7 days, 2 weeks, or 30 days. Great for temporary sharing. It's free to use. I’d love to hear your feedback!

TL;DR: I built a Chrome extension that copies webpage content or YouTube subtitles as clean, clutter-free Markdown with one click (or a shortcut). It even shows the token count, making it super handy for LLM prompts! Hi, HN! I often copy information from the web into my notes (Obsidian) or to feed context to LLMs for summaries/translations. So I built cpdown, a browser extension for this. cpdown lets you convert any webpage/youtube subtitle into clean Markdown and copy it to your clipboard with a single click (or a keyboard shortcut). Here are the key features: * Intelligent…
