Welcome to Project S.A.T.U.R.D.A.Y. This is a project that allows anyone to easily build their own self-hosted J.A.R.V.I.S-like voice assistant. In my mind vocal computing is the future of human-computer interaction and by open sourcing this code I hope to expedite us on that path. I have had a blast working on this so far and I'm excited to continue to build with it. It uses whisper.cpp [1], Coqui TTS [2] and OpenAI [3] to do speech-to-text, text-to-text and text-to-speech inference all 100% locally (except for text-to-text). In the future I plan to swap out OpenAI for llama.cpp [4]. It is…

This is a small project i made years ago and updated to whisper last year, i still use it from time to time and thought it might be useful to others, or just put the idea out there for someone better than me to make a better implementation!

I have a long YouTube watch-later playlist and wanted Claude to help me triage it by summarizing each video. It couldn't. I later discovered YouTube is not accessible to Claude, ChatGPT and majority of AIs. So I built this MCP server to fix that. This is a local MCP server that gives any MCP-compatible client (Claude, ChatGPT, OpenClaw and others) 8 tools for working with YouTube content: - fetch full transcript, with or without timestamps - download transcript as a .md file - get video metadata (title, channel, views, duration, likes, description) - search within captions for a keyword or…

I watch a lot of Stanford/Berkeley lectures and YouTube content on AI agents, MCP, and security. Got tired of scrubbing through hour-long videos to find one explanation. Built v1 of mcptube a few months ago. It performs transcript search and implements Q&A as an MCP server. It got traction (34 stars, my first open-source PR, some notable stargazers like CEO of Trail of Bits). But v1 re-searched raw chunks from scratch every query. So I rebuilt it. v2 (mcptube-vision) follows Karpathy's LLM Wiki pattern. At ingest time, it extracts transcripts, detects scene changes with ffmpeg,…

Hey, I'm Nick from Nutrient, I want to share our newly released MCP Server that enables document workflows using natural language — things like redacting, merging, signing, converting formats, or extracting data. While many MCP servers have traditionally been developer-focused, we recognized that the technology could be highly effective in promoting the adoption of tools that are often hidden from end-user interfaces. We’re really interested to see if this side of the protocol could continue to mature. One thing we struggled with was the inability to receive documents from the client (no…

Got tired of every MCP example being overly verbose, or needing Docker or Mac-only scripts, so I threw together MCP-123. Point it at a tools.py, run `server.run_server(...)`, and the client auto-discovers/calls functions with OpenAI. I hope this is useful to you all.
