Some technical context on what we ran into building this. MCP tools don't really work for financial data at scale. One tool call for five years of daily prices dumps tens of thousands of tokens into the context window. And data vendors pack dozens of tools into a single MCP server, schemas alone can eat 50k+ tokens before the agent does anything useful. So we auto-generate typed Python modules from the MCP schemas at workspace init and upload them into the sandbox. The agent just imports them like a normal library. Only a one-line summary per server stays in the prompt. We have around 80…

There are many Indians living abroad and are the biggest segment when it comes to cross-border remittances. However, getting started and taking care of their Indian finances while abroad has been extremely manual and tedious. Good morning everyone! My co-founder and I recently moved to the UK after working at Robinhood for over 5 years. We were stunned at the fees it was costing us to move money across borders with existing fintech solutions, so we decided to start Atlantic Money - the world’s first fixed fee (with no FX markup) money transfer product. For £3 you can transfer up to £1M. Let us know if you have any questions!

We built a local-first, private, multi-currency, double-entry based personal finance app. It will help you track, visualize, and plan your financial journey. Use the `Try demo` button, to try it without an account. Small screens (mobiles) are not supported yet. By local-first we mean, your data is on your system (we use sqlite over opfs, in browser). For synching across devices, the data is encrypted with your key before it leaves your device. You can backup the data locally (if you are using chrome) and/or to your dropbox. It's designed so that we (the people building it) can't access…

Hey there HN Community! I’m excited to share some news with you – we’ve recently launched Remanent, a tool that helps web3 companies keep their platforms safe and compliant. Remanent has been built for Web3 projects like Exchanges, Marketplaces, DeFi companies, and more. Anyone can check if a wallet address belongs to the US OFAC Sanctions list, turn on email alerts for future transactions, and generate reports to share with their team. We’ve received a lot of positive feedback from users who’ve tried Remanent, and we would love for you to give it a go as well; be sure to dig into the API…

Stripe is often seen as the gold standard for international and cross-border payments. But in reality, many founders, especially those outside the US, have a different experience: Merchants are frequently offboarded without much explanation. Stripe isn’t available or fully supported in many countries. Even when available, setting up a legal entity, handling tax compliance, or managing FX fees can be a huge overhead. We built Dodo Payments to solve exactly this. (https://www.dodopayments.com) It’s a Merchant of Record (MoR) platform designed to help digital founders and indie…
