A DNS server that removes the top million domains

In plain words

Millionshort is a DNS server that filters internet searches by blocking the top one million most-visited domains. Launched in 2012, it allows users to explore less mainstream corners of the web by removing major sites from search results. The tool is designed for anyone curious about discovering obscure or niche content that would otherwise be buried beneath popular websites. It offers an alternative way to browse the internet when mainstream results aren't what you're looking for.
