What it does

Swarm is a workspace manager for parallel coding agent development, similar to cmux , Superset , and Conductor . Register git repositories, spin up isolated worktrees, and run persistent terminal sessions inside them from a native GTK desktop app or the CLI. Swarm runs on Linux. Install the latest prebuilt release with: curl --proto '=https' --tlsv1.2 -LsSf https://github.com/penberg/swarm/releases/latest/download/swarm-installer.sh | sh Then start the GUI with: swarmctl --help For more information, check out the documentation section . Coding agents are most effective when you can run many of them in parallel — one per feature, one per bug fix. But in practice, this quickly turns into…from github.com

I kept missing when my Codex agents finished, so I built relayd — a mobile dashboard that sends push notifications and lets me continue agents from my phone. Free tier available. Would love feedback.

Some time ago I built a simple app to run swarms of coding agents — I call it fleet (https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=48256389). It's based on centralized beads with a Python orchestrator and can run any coder (Claude, agy, Codex). Recently I added a UI to manage the whole agent lifecycle: adding new tasks, monitoring running ones, and a chat interface built on MCP with a centralized SQLite DB. From the UI I can spawn agents to run in any directory, define dependencies on other tasks, and specify which coder/model should do the job. Today I can run 10–15 agents…

It first came to me in 2014: “What if we could handle emails more like conversations?” Every year, I’d revisit this concept in my “Build Notes.” Ten years later, no one had built exactly what I had in mind — so I finally decided to do it myself. That’s how Talanoa was born. I wanted something focused on people, not timelines. I was tired of marking messages as unread just to remember to reply later, or…

  • With social media and now AI, its important to keep the indie web alive. There are many people who write frequently. Blogosphere tries to highlight them by fetching the recent posts from personal blogs across many categories. There are two versions: Minimal (HN-inspired, fast, static): https://text.blogosphere.app/ Non-minimal: https://blogosphere.app/ If you don't find your blog (or your favorite ones), please add them. I will review and approve it.
